They arrived frayed out. They do not look like professional quality. I expected them to be tight and smooth like in the photo. Not worth what I paid.

my oil painting teacher recommended this brush and wow! what an amazing brush, perfect control for laying down small details exactly as you want. Couldn't be more pleased; makes painting a lot easier and more fun when the brush works so well. I never write reviews but when something is this good, I want to share. It can be hard to find a good brush, but this one is no doubt a winner.

This brush is the highest quality product available. This price is outrageously low for red sable. I am guessing amazon doesn't sell a lot of this size. This brush should cost at least twice this much. Sincerely. Buy it while you can!

Love Silver brushes. This company makes fantastic brushes. They hold their shape, have good coverage, do not lose bristles. Only company I wd consider buying a brush from on line w/o seeing it in person beforehand.

This is a fine detailing brush. I originally purchased it for some detail work in one of my acrylic paintings, but when I received this item it was so well made I was afraid the acrylic paints would ruin it. I now use it with my watercolor paintings. I use the point for fine lines and then press down on the brush to give me a wider stroke. Using it on its edge also provides a fine line and then while painting the line I can rotate the brush to give a wider stroke. While this is not something new in watercolor the opposite is; the brush hairs are resilient enough that I can paint thin to thick and back to thin all in the same stroke. Its great for painting thin leaves, feathers and pointed flower pedals. I am very happy with this brush.
