Perfect for second hand lamps that are missing hardware.-- TL/DR begin --Well packaged without additional information. Plastic case, sealed with tape, contained latch that broke/didn't work.The simple design works well with just about all lamps that require it.-- TL/DR end --I didn't know the name of these things until I needed one and, since we like to buy used lamps, this pack was perfect for the missing finials.

I picked up a new-to-me lamp at a second hand store, but it didn’t have a shade or finial. These fit perfect, and even matched the chrome coloring on the lamp.

Purchased a clearance item at a big home store that was very reasonable,because it was missing the finials of the lamp/shades tops. Kind of risky, but ordered these and they actually fit. I am very happy. Be careful with threading them on as if you start screwing them on incorrectly they are hard to get off. Take your time, to make sure yo do not cross thread. Not hard to put on, just don't try to do it in a hurry.
