I have tried all kinds of wine openers, electric ones, the CO2 popper ones, and even some flimsy manual ones. Overall, anything manual is the way to go, but it's so hard to find a basic one that gives proper leverage and doesn't eventually break, plus a lot of those require a little hand strength. This opener is hands down the best and only wine opener you will ever need. The set comes packaged in a nice box with everything you could need. It's so simple to use and easy. You lift the lever all the way back, adjust the clasp part around the neck of your bottle and close it around the neck. Push the lever down and back up and your cork is easily removed! Then you simply remove the clasp, from the bottle, close it, and push the lever all the way down and back up again, and your cork is easily released from the corkscrew. Opening a bottle of wine has never been easier or simpler. Highly recommend this!!

I have opened many bottles of wine using various methods and using this Rabbit has got to be the easiest. You get everything you need to cut the foil and open the bottle. The rabbit does look a little intimidating when you first see it, but after a couple of uses it is perfectly natural and you will never go back to a stand corkscrew. If you are getting this as a gift, you are in the luck, as it comes in a very nice box that could be easily wrapped as a gift. I'm a fan and now need to get to the store to grab some more vino!

This is the first corkscrew of this style I've had or used before, so I don't know how it compares to others, but removing corks from wine bottles works quite well. I will say it can be a little tricky to remove the cork from the screw as the mechanism can get in the way a bit, but that's fairly minor...removing a cork can be done in a few seconds though. While the corkscrew feels fairly well-made it certainly doesn't look "premium" but is probably the nicest piece in the set. The foil cutter works fine and the wine stopper isn't bad, but the pour spout feels extremely cheap, and the metal almost feels sharp...I'll probably just toss that. Not sure I'd bother with the drip ring either. If you don't already have any of these accessories, it might be a reasonable entry set to try out and see what you like, then maybe upgrade down the road.

This is a beautifully made Wine Opener set. The set comes in a very nice presentation box and makes for a wonderful gift. The wine opener is the easiest I have ever used. I am getting rid of all my manual cork screw types. Simply cut the wine seal and apply the opener. Push down and the unit cork screw is centered into the cork. They pull up and the cork is out. Very complete set.

This lever corkscrew is so easy to use! Sometimes my wrist gets angry when I use old school corkscrews, so I do prefer lever style, and this one works super smoothly, plus it looks really fancy which makes me smile.The foil cutter works perfectly, the drip ring is effective, the aerator makes for a smooth pour.This comes in a pretty nice presentation box with foam and would make a nice surprise for a casual wine lover.

We open a few bottle of wine a week and used to rely on an electric bottle opener. However, since that one died after many years of service the ones we've had since have failed to perform as well or for as long. So I've returned to manual corkscrews. And while they work, they can be a bit fiddly as well.At first glance, this tool looks like it is terribly complicated. However, once you try it a couple times you feel quite comfortable with it and it is very fast and easy. It's actually faster than the old electric opener was. It provides excellent leverage so you don't need a lot of force to make it work. The build quality is superb and it comes with quite a few nice extras in the box. The foil cutter works quickly and simply, the pouring spout is very nice for reducing drips and spills and there is even a collar to prevent drips from running down the bottle.If you're thinking this might make a nice gift, it comes in a very nice box that will look good when being handed over to another wine enthusiast. It's also nice that everything fits back in the box for storage.
