This stainless steel 1/4" NPT temperature probe is well-made with a secure seal and appears to be fully stainless. The dial is high contrast, making it very easy to read, and the clear face adds to its visibility. I have spent about a week trying to perfectly adjust the temperature of my Bunn coffee maker. My thought was to add a thermometer to the unit just outside the tank. At least give me an idea what it's set to since there are no numbers on the dial inside the panel. I don't want it to puncture the tank so I'll get it as close as I can and hopefully it will help me.It's just the right size and not too big. As for accuracy, it's not exactly precise but it gives you a pretty close idea. I believe its within 8-10⁰
