A must needed tool for Molly type anchor. The build quality is good, and it simplifies the work a lot.

RV walls are hella thin, won't hold wall anchor prongs, and you end up putting ugly scars in them. Thicker walls often work no better. With this gun, you set the anchor positively and stop worrying. What a blessing to be able to adjust shade tension cords properly without cheap screws popping out of the walls. Many reviewers comment that small anchor bolt heads slip out of this tool -- it's true, but all you need to do is temporarily put a larger washer under the bolt head before pulling. If you use expanding metal wall anchors at all, you need this tool.

My fault, but this thing is way too big for seating anchors that are larger than 90% of the ones you would use normally in a home. I the screw heads on most wall anchors just slip right through the holder, so I tried it once a long time ago when I bought it, now it just sits in my tool chest gathering dust. Maybe they make one with two or three inter-changeable holders of different sizes?

Used for a specific hollow wall fixing. It's worth spending a little more for this. My previous 'cheapie' doesn't work anymore. "Buy cheap, buy twice". I've done just that :(Highly recommended.

Saw this thing on You Tube by some guy in England. Ordered and bought one thinking it would be better than using the cheap-ass tool you get with the anchors. It works great! Only problem is now there are so many better methods for anchoring to sheet rock I hardly ever use the thing.

I've been fighting to install wall anchors to place a lockbox on a hollow metal post for a screened porch. Because the metal is thin where the anchor is inserted (no thicker than 1/4 inch) and the anchor will not grab into solid metal, the anchor spins loosely, making it impossible to install. The anchor arms never move to tighten the anchor to the wall. Without this tool, installing anchors in this situation is impossible. Believe me, I've tried EVERYTHING!Using this tool to install anchors took only minututes. Place the head of the screw (with a washer) inside the moving section of the tool. Squeeze the handle. It rachets back, moving the anchor arms for a tight and secure install. It was like a dream come true!I believe this tool should be in anyone's tool box if you occasionally install anchors. Sooner or later you'll encounter an install situation where the ONLY solution is this tool. It will be mighty handy to have it in your toolbox so you'll be ready. This tool is also well-built and virtually indestructible.

I finally got to use this tool the other day,and let me tell you.. IT DID NOT disappoint me.This tool actually saved me a lot of time. If you have ever worked on plastered walls, you know what I mean.First, drilling through plaster is not easy, and your usually left with some over sized holes that are hard to fit anchors so they won't spin out on you. This tool made this work a lot less frustrating.By pulling on the screw rather then trying to screw it in and trying to stop the anchor from turning at the same time..just made my day..P.S.: I had to put in over twenty-five (25) anchors in four different rooms. I did it in one and a haft hours (1 1/2)..from set-up to clean-up!!...This is one amazing little tool..WHY.. didn't some one think of this before??...

As simple as this seems, it works really well. I install a lot of items into dry wall (I work work an interior decorator) and often before the hager would start to spin before the screw tightened up again the drywall. This tool solves that issue. I highly recommend the tool.

what a great invention. makes it easy to install anchor bolts in walls where the wallboard or plaster would crumble if you tried to pull the rear anchor holds by turning the screw. wish I knew of this tool years ago. And, by the way, it's made in England and is super quality construction. Simple tool that does one thing great.

I became aware of this tool when Ron Paulk mentioned it in a recent YouTube video. Wall anchors have never been on the happy side of my to-do list. The usual process of setting the anchor with the self-bolt is a little slow. It's easy to over-tighten the bolt so the anchor partially crushes the drywall. Sometimes the anchor head does not bite the wall well enough, so it spins. This tool changed all that. I love it. A couple squeezes of the handle are enough to set the anchor. It's faster than using a drill. It's more consistent, too. Every anchor went in properly, set just right, and was fast. It was all good. I was able to easily set anchors in tight spaces where using a drill or screwdriver would have been a challenge. Because the tool uses a pulling force instead of rotation, the anchor heads never spin out. When using for the first time, set an anchor in a piece of scrap drywall to get a feel for it. The bolt head of the anchor needs to protrude about 1/4" so the tool's internal puller can catch the bolt head. If it won't catch the bolt head then withdraw the bolt a few more turns. Also check that the puller was released to the starting position.
