They are great especially if you're on a budget or need something quick. They sound fantastic for a good month or so and after awhile they lose their tone. But if you're playing jazz they'll be great lol (boil em) They do the job though when you need em!

Buy cheap and change often. However they last as long as $30 strings. I have them on 4 or 5 of my basses. No one at my shows can tell the difference. Neither can my fingers.

These would be great if they were consistent.

Great for the money. I own and run a used guitar shop in Florida and have to restring alot of bass guitars. These are great quality for the money. I suggest using them over other options for similar price on Amazon.

I’m a new bass player & to me these sound very good & priced right. I’d definitely buy again

These are good bass guitar strings. Not great, but very serviceable if you don't mind the tradeoff with the price. In my experience, the biggest difference is that they lose that "fresh bass string" tone more quickly. If you prefer a more mellow tone, this could even be considered a feature rather than a limitation if vintage thud is more your thing, On the other hand, if you're going for that bright modern tone that comes from a fresh pair of strings, they have it at first but they mellow out fairly quickly. For me, they're best used as emergency strings. I usually keep a set in my gig bag as emergency strings since I don't mind just pulling one from the set if a string breaks and I don't want to swap out the entire set at once. They're cheap enough that you won't sweat giving one away to a bassist from another band if they're in need. And since they mellow fairly quickly, they won't sound super out of place if you leave the one fresh string on with 3 older strings.

I specifically looked for cheap strings to put on a bass someone gave me. Didn't want to put a lot of money into it given the bass needed multiple repairs, just needed some strings for testing. Since then I've put in about 5 or 6 hours playing this bass and they are holding up and staying bright.
