Easily the standard for installing deck joists. I recommend using the hex head screws sold by Simpson instead of nails or galvanized torx screws.

Simpson Strong Tie produces excellent quality products for joining wooden materials. These screws will be used with metal plates to join railroad ties in a retaining wall.

I'm not sure whether to comment on how quickly my order was packaged and shipped or the quality of the screws. Amazon says that I cannot comment on the packaging or shipping, so I'll just say that I got them in a couple of days and they were perfect for my needs. I'm building a new building and I'm using Simpson brand Strong ties wherever possible for the wood junctions. I personally don't like driving those tiny nails by hand,(I have arthritis in my hands so it's really hard to hold the little nails), so I use screws that are not readily available in my rural community. It is much easier to pickup the screws with a magnetic bit rather than picking up a tiny nail and trying to hold it and drive it home with a hammer.
