Do not waste your money. Bought two of these and one died after using 6 times and one lasted only 3 times. Not worth trying. Since we only use about 1 time a month it was out of the return timeframe.

This microphone is a surprisingly good mic for the price. Please understand you probably should not try using it for singing in a big venue concert. However, for speaking, plays (even musicals), and church vocals (singing and speaking), this mic will hold its own. I do wish that it had a small disc to keep the mic from touching the skin, as it might rub against the skin or facial hair and make a noise. (The word "might" is key.)The only problems I have had with this mic:1) It is sensitive to cable movement near the plug. To fix this, I simply tapes about 6 inches of cable to the back of the bodypack transmitter to prevent the movement. Now, there is no issue whatsoever.2) I had to use a very small rubber band to keep the windscreen on.I would...and have...recommend this mic for programs that are on a tight budget.

No audio from the microphone. Some crackling sound when the cable is wiggled. This is after taking the device straight out of the box.
