  • Fast Idle Button:The fast idle button can be used to advance throttle without shifting into gear. With control lever in Neutral, push on fast idle button(cover) to open throttle for starting and warm-up.
  • Power Trim & Tilt Switch: The power trim and tilt switch is attached to the control lever grip. Used to trim or raise driver unit for trallering, launching, beaching, or shallow water operation. Pushing it UP trims up and tilts up the engine and pushing it DOWN trims down and tilts down the engine.
  • Friction Adjustment Nut: The nut can be adjusted to increase or decease the friction on the control handle, preventing creep on the remote control handle. By turning in or out the throttle friction screw of the remote control box, the stiffness of the control lever can be adjusted. Turning the adjusting screw to the right makes the control lever stiff to turn, and vice versa.
  • Improved Throttle & Shift Control: With control handle in Neutral and fast idle feature not activated, move control handle to Forward gear or Reverse gear position. Continue movement of control handle in same direction to open (advance) throttle.
  • Safety: The rope can be connected to the user's clothes or body, which can stop the ignition when the user accidentally leaves the tiller

This item is not worth the money. Gives trouble shifting and shifter it self is very loose. Do not waste your money. They refuse to send a replacement 10 days after the purchase.

The con is that it's hard to feel the change in fwd neutral reverse there is not a very distinct difference when shifting

Absolute garbage and possibly dangerous. Does not change gear and allow throttle to work, have tried for over 2 weeks to get it to work because i first thought it was my engine gear arm that was sticking but after several attempts I narrowed it down to the mechanism in the unit, even had to tighten all the interior screws and fasteners that were nOt even finger tight. Luckily i didnt install this thing .and take the boat out could have been a disaster . DO NOT BUY !!!!

Peace of junk do not buy i got it and it won’t shift I tried to grind down the teeth on the gear part and I still can’t get it to work properly maybe I go a bad one but still SAVE YOUR MONEY

Very poor quality went to install and it won’t even shift disconnect the cables and tried to shift still not working very displeased with the product

I am still trying fine adjustments because it shifts so easily I can't feel whether I am in gear or neutral. Though, that's a lot better than my old one that had to be yanked and slammed in and out of gear.
