I had a basement toilet leaking sewer gases. I had the toilet reset before, but unbeknownst to me the flange has a poorly set repair flange. When I pulled it again the whole flange came half off. No wonder I had sewer gases. Former owner fixed everything wrong. This flange was exactly what was called for the flange I had to cut out with a ram bit. The normal glue in was 2 inches too short and a regular twist n fit doesnt have a deep enough male adapter side. This one fit perfect. I lubed the silicone gasket part with silicone plumbers grease, set it, bolt it down with 4 bolts and anchor.

Plan ahead as shipping takes time, but this is a great product to replace any of those old flanges you encounter in a remodel. The additional rubber flanges on the pipe are key!

As long as you know what you are doing these repair flanges work great, as I stated though, make sure you know what you are doing.

what is pictured is not what is sold. pictured is a Sioux chief 887, shipped is a Sioux chief 886. the difference is 887 will glue fit nominal pipe fittings allowing you to extend the neck if needed, as pictured in ad. the 887 does not glue fit. to nominal size pipe or fittings.

I needed a tight fit and ease of installation for the toilet worked great. Update may 2019 still working good. I forgot to add in my first review that I used the rubber donut ring instead of the wax ring. It works great and if you have to take out the toilet to work on it you don't have a wax mess.

Two bathrooms, both with new tile floors. Discovered with the first one that the cast iron pipe was too tight. Flange stuck, and stuck just a smidge too high so the toilet rocked. Second bathroom we didnt use the red seal thingie and just used silicone caulk, and it slipped into the pipe correctly.
