This Siwdoy WM8100HVA Drain Pump Compatible WAS compatible with our LG WM9000HVA washing machine as stated. Replacement was not easy as we are not trained professionals. There are some online videos that you can find to help guide you; however, the drain pump is not easy to get to. The whole process of replacing a faulty drain pump with this new one took about 8 hours start to finish, due to lack of knowledge. You may want to consider that if you do not have experience doing this. However, it saved us around $600-$800 in a service call and install by a repair professional...that does not include the overpriced cost of a part that they would have used compared to this reasonable priced Siwdoy replacement. However, the difficult install has everything to do with our lack of experience, and nothing to do with functionality of this pump or design of this pump.This Siwdoy drain pump is working as well as well as when our washing machine was new! Delivery was quick (next day)!I am just hoping this drain pump lasts longer than the original (which lasted only 3.5 years).
