This is such a cool embossing folder! It is VERY detailed! The pic is done with scrapbooking paper, I haven’t used it with thicker card-stock yet. But I’m so impressed with how detailed it actually is! It’ll make a very cool card background.I usually make miniature buildings, but just got a Sizzix cutting machine. I got this one hoping to be able to use this for brick walls, and I’m so happy it’ll work for that!

I've had my eye on this embossing folder for a long time. I finally broke down and bought it. I am so happy I did. The detail is very detailed. The re are several depths to the card making it pop.I used 110# cardstock and the Gina K Intracut machine. I used the magnetic pad only with 3-D setting and a -3 tightness. The 110lb cardstock works much better than the 65 lb cardstock.

First let me just say that this embossing folder is GORGEOUS and super high quality - it makes amazing impressions and is a welcome variation from the typical twee themes in most cardmaking stuff. That being said, this is a THICC BOI! This folder was so thicc that I had to really wrestle with my BigShot to get it to go through - the instructions with the machine didn't actually work and it took some trial and error to get it to work. Given how much labor that was, I'll probably do a bunch of these at once since I doubt I'll feel like fighting with my machine every single time I want to use it. Otherwise though it's amazing!

I received this embossing folder today and put it right to work. The first thing I noticed is how thick it is. It would not run through my Big Shot unless I took the top cover plate off (normally I use the base, the bottom piece, the folder with paper, and the top cover. It may have worked to leave off the bottom cover instead of the top, but I didn't want the folder to sit flush with my main base piece. The impression was very nice, but there were a few minor cracks in my paper....better to do a practice piece to see how your finished product will look. (Design of my card is from Dreaming Tree).

I was entering a competition which needed a brickwork background. I can safely say that it worked a treat. I was so amazed by this folder. Well worth the money.

Great for making cards, scrap booking or other steampunk crafts! I use basic black card stock, use this embossing folder, then dry brush over it with metallic acrylic crafting paint. This leaves the black paper showing in the crevices. Then I dry brush a complimentary color in a few spots to add a patina or rusted look. Sometimes I splatter some alcohol ink to make it look grungy. I've used this to cover steampunk style boxes too, it looks really cool if used as a base cover and then add other embellishments, like metal gears, lace, leather strips, etc.
