The rubber pool liner mat is thick and will protect the pool liner from the base of the ladder that rubs and moves around some. I did have to cut the size down because it was longer than the size of the ladder legs and those ends did not want to stay flat on the ground. It has a no slip to it and that is slightly rough on the feet but the mat does protect your pool liner from the ladder steps.

This is pretty nice, however, it seems on the small side, my people move a lot in the pool and it moves the ladder around, I'm not sure the ladder will stay on the mat very well, will have to try it out next summer. Will update if thoughts change.

Ordered this to do exactly that, protect my liner in AGP and this is perfect . I would roll it out for a day in the sun to get the roll out of it, but after that, submerge a sun simply place under your ladder and you’re good to go.More than enough surface area to do the job, very durable fabric and thick!!! Works well.Good price for peace of mind

My pool has an infinity edge with a catch basin. I need a couple cinder blocks inside the basin so that if my dogs or other wild life hop in there, they can get out. I'm using this mat under the blocks to protect the pebble-tec lining of the basin. This mat is perfect for that. I can't speak to the longevity of the mat or how prone it is to getting funky as of yet. For that reason I'm giving it 4 stars for now. But so far, so good!

This 9 x 36-inch mat arrived rolled up in a small, neat plastic-wrapped package. It had a bit of a curl to it, but I put it out in the sun and it quickly settled flat.It is longer than my ladder, but since I have a sand bag on either side of the ladder to hold it in place, it’s perfect!It is quite thick and just wide enough for the base of my ladder. It’s a great price and should be a wonderful job.
