This is a good seal but you may as well go straight to Ford and get the Italian made OEM one for the same price. My factory ones went 300,000 miles without a leak. That being said when I went to install these I attempted it with a homemade installation tool that turned out very well but STILL ruined both seals within 1 minute. There is really no possible way (without a lathe) to build a tool that works well enough to put these in exactly right. You HAVE to use the installation tool for the Dana axles that Ford stealerships have. It works perfectly and when I used their installation tool the seals went in effortlessly and took only 8 minutes to complete. Best of luck with your project.
