I really like these tie downs/straps. Easy to install and seems to be very functional. Got them installed and skis are tied down but not road tested yet will update. Only down side is it appears they were made in the USA at one point, but a few of my packages have made in china. Would’ve picked a different brand is I knew they were made in china.

The stainless steel ring seems heavy duty as well as the webbing. The web strap is very stiff so you have to crease it to pull it down through a 1995 Kawasaki JetSki 750 SXi Standup’s, bow or stern eyelet. It barely fits.Same for 1989 Kawasaki 650 SX JetSki standups bow or stern eyelets. Not only is the webbing heavy duty, they wrapped it over itself where its sewn together. it’s three layers thick, which makes it very stiff. The entire length is 7 inches long and the webbing is 1 inch wide. The dimensions of the ring are follows:OD = 1.4”ID = 1”The stainless steel rod that makes up the ring is .195” thickThe stainless steel rod that makes up the inner crossbeam is .186” thick.note the stock, Kawasaki JetSki plastic eyelets have an inner diameter ID of .778”.Therefore, as mentioned above, you have to bend/crease the webbing to fit it down through the hole/eyelet.The aftermarket stainless steel eyelets that I have on my Kawasaki standup jet skis have an inner diameter of .81”. You’ll have to give it a good tug and wiggle to pull the strap down in place. And to remove it, it will take a good tug and wiggles to pull the strapup and out. Consequently, if you’re using the stock plastic eyelets, it’s just going to be that much more difficult. However, that could be a good thing in the event that whatever you have holding the strap down to your trailer comes loose, this $25 eyelet strap won’t bounce out of your eyelet hole onto the roadway as you’re driving down the freeway. The following is what is printed on the attached white warning label that I wished I would’ve known before I bought the product since I store my jet skis, outdoors:“Working Load Limit:500 lb (227 kg)WARNINGFailure to read all warnings and instruction before use of this product may result in serious injury or death. Never exceed the working load limit of the assembly. Inspect entire assembly before each use.Do not use ratchet if any parts are loose, bent or crooked. Webbing should not be used if any signs of abrasion, burning, melting, cuts, fraying, tears, knots, damaged sew patterns or alterations are present. Hardware must be pulled in a straight line or performance strength will be reduced. Always protect webbing from sharp edges or abrasive surfaces. Ratchet assemblies are not to be used for lifting, overhead lifting or towing of any kind. Do not leave webbing out in sunlight or foul weather.“All that said, I’ll keep this eyelet strap as a back up in my glove box. However, for primary use I bought a stainless steel turnbuckle from Lowe’s but I’m only using the centerpiece which is actually made of aluminum. And then I use 1/4 inch diameter stainless steel 1 inch long hex bolt to screw into the top of that with a couple washers (each with increasing OD) so it doesn’t fall down through the eyelet. The center of the turnbuckle is open, which accommodates the hook of my stainless steel Boat Buckle ratchet strap.
