A buddy bought a set for his logging truck. So I took the risk on this set. I'm not disappointed i wish the clevouses wasn't painted over but that's a minor problem to me. I've used these to load and unload logs on my trailer for firewood and can see them lasting longer then I expected.

Definitely seem heavy duty! I’ve used a smaller set and liked so much I bought these bigger ones but haven’t had opportunity to use them yet but they’re definitely just as heavy duty! I’ll update if they don’t hold up but I suspect they’ll work just as good as my smaller 18” ones but these 32” are definitely going to be a game changer, I changed the ring though and added a swivel grab hook on top…, this way I’ll be able to either hang from the ring using the forks or I can use the hook and skid logs out

Purchased these to move huge tree slices. They have comfortably grappled a 50" log and allowed me to skid it to the loading area. Very pleased with the construction quality and performance. I saved several dollars by purchasing one that was previously used from Amazon. I could not detect any wear on the tongs at all. Very satisfied!

Needed a way to load big logs onto log splitter. With my front loader compact tractor and these tongs I can load 32 inch diameter logs (haven’t experienced any larger ones yet). One other benefit is that after the first split, the two parts stay clamped so I can continue splitting the same log by just shifting it over. Having two people, one on the tractor and one at the splitter, works out much better but I normally work alone.

I’ve been skidding 17’ fresh cut pines up to 28” diameter-no bending or distortion. The points are razor sharp, bite well into the trees. Also carrying the stumps with 48” base x 36” high with no problems. FYI if you’re new at this make sure your chain strength doesn’t exceed your 3 point rating. Better to break a cheap chain than an expensive tractor.

I saw this at a Amish store, I went back to get it and it was gone, so I bought this one online and it was exactly the same and $100 cheaper.

Used to skid logs using my tractor. Used a chain on the bucket to lift the log ends slightly. Lifted/ pulled 20' x 2' dia logs without a problem.

I bought this to move logs with my tractor. Using my loader, I can pick up, move, and drop a log without getting off the seat. As I get older, saving steps and up and downs matter.
