1st saw only lasted 2 days before the shaft completely froze up and the motor refused to spin the blade. After returning the unit and looking online, it seemed like this was still my best option for a cheap tile saw.2nd tile saw ordered and this one worked without issue for the rest of the job.Don't expect perfection with cuts. This is not a $500 saw, and so will not be as consistent, but for what it is, it worked well.

The saw does cut but gets stuck when i get to the plastic water guide. Also makes a mess. Water goes everywhere, might need to use with a raincoat. For the money it did cut tile.

Worked perfect. Replaced my back splash and this saw was just a joy to use. Just keep the little water reservoir clean and full and it’s good to go.

He loves it and it's exactly like the old one, just a newer one.

Only thing I didn't like about this is that it moves around a great deal.

I have been using Skil products for decades and am usually satisfied with the tools. I recommend the buyer make note of the small size of the table; that way, they will not be disappointed that the saw cannot be used for large items. Anything larger than a six inch tile will cause a bit of difficulty, with the difficulty increasing as the size of the tile increases.

Way messier than an overhead blade with water irrigation - it cuts well, but you can't see what you're doing, and the miter/slider feed is kinda janky. Sprays stuff everywhere. Cut 3/4" soap stone pretty well.
