I didn’t know these boot cleats exist until I stumbled upon them on Amazon, and they are excellent. They are simple and low-tech, but they do the job. They are MUCH better on ice than the plastic boot soles, and I can see how over time they will protect the boots as well. Easy to put on and take off, and to adjust the size.

When they worked, they were really good. Easy to walk on snow or parking lot. Good boot protection. The problem I encountered was the device kept falling off. When I tightened it a notch or two for snugger fit, the connecting strap pulled through when I was walking and it dropped off the boot in 2 pieces. It’s pretty much useless and I stopped using it on its second ski trip. I had even given a friend a pair before I realized the problem!Update:Customer service was excellent and replaced them, saying it was an unusual but known problem. Very responsive customer service.

Easy on and off. Rarely do I step out them. Great tool so that I can still walk around in my solid soled boots without damaging them.

Two sizes were offered. I ordered the "Adult" size. It was next to impossible to get them onto my ski boots. Every time I tried, they would split apart at the adjustment tab. Perhaps a larger size would have worked, but this was the largest available at Amazon. They looked like they would perform well if I could have easily got them onto my boots. If your shoe size is 10.5 or larger, you might want to look elsewhere.
