OK - this one really works / wide enough for most tire sizes. Ok - maybe not fat tires. Lock and install works great. Very solid.

I like SKS accessories, they are a bit pricey for a piece of moulded plastic but they do have style.Only 3 stars because the photos don't describe how this fits to the bike. It is a simple bung that fits in the hole under the front fork like a cork in a wine bottle with a clip on the end you clip the mudguard intoThe bung is very small (15-35mm) so flip your MTB over and measure the diameter of the hole under your front forks before ordering.I had to wrap a rubber shim around mine so it would stay fixed inside the hole. This type of cork in a wine bottle fitting is the same as the cheap Chinese mudguard set I bought years ago so am a bit disappointed it isn't sturdier. Cannot complain about style and quality of the mudguard.

Been using the Shockblades for years now on various mountain bikes. Great coverage.

I am using this 'XL' version on a 29" mountain bike. The installation was super easy. Just select the one of the four clamp barrels that is just a bit smaller than the opening up into your steering column, insert bolt and nut, stick it up the column, then tighten the bolt, and that is it. The board installs by sliding it into the grooves of the installed part and clicking it into place. Removal is done by pressing the orange button and pulling the board out. This could not be designed better, IMO. The board also looks great. It works very well. I often ride in a fairly muddy park (summer in Florida!...;-), and I did not get hit by one drop of mud in the face since installing this board. Awesome! It does flex and vibrate a little bit while riding in rough terrain due to the single mounting point, but since it is made from a sturdy plastic, there is no noise associated with this, and it does not bother. I just ordered the matching board for the back. Great brand!

Love this fender and it works ok on my giant gravel bike. You have to twist it a bit and then jiggle it into position, but it works for me. Clever mount from the bottom of the steering shaft, and then a clip, i used the longer one. so far so good...

The product works well to stop water from coming up from the road and onto the rider.

SWEET. I have a Schwinn mountain bike. Pretty standard. I got a Schwinn carrying rack on the back, so the mud/rain from the back wheels stays off my back. I wanted a light front fender. This is perfect. It mounts and dismounts easily. It comes with multiple split barrels. I was confused how much they expanded so I tried to slide in the one that would not fit. The I put in the one I thought was too small and it expanded very well to tighten in the tube. The attachment of the fender to this mound is just a very secure clip. I can take it off easily. Wonderful and now I can ride the bike in the rain and not get splashed. Great product.

Had used the normal shockboard on my MTB before, this is a good 4-5" longer underneath with better coverage. Had to jeririg the mount with tape to get it to fit my rockshox fork, the given adaptors didn't match. A little photographer's tape to widen the adaptor worked fine and it's set firmly. Quick release works great, slides on and off in a few seconds.

Does the job of keeping me dry. This was the only way I could get a fender on my bike because my bike doesn't have any eyelet holes to attach to the rotor. It installs by shoving a little adapter up the part of the bike where the handlebar meets the front fork. Very easy to install - under 10 min. My main complaint is that they give you 4-5 adapters so you can fit it to your bike, but there's a ~3 millimeter difference from one size to the next, and I was between two sizes so I couldn't get it to stay on. They should give you a little rubber shim or make the adapters adjustable down to the milliliter so it fits every bike. I solved by putting a rubber band around one of the smaller adaptors, but the fit still isn't perfect so the fender tends to get skewed every couple days. If you have eyelet holes on your bike, you can probably find a better fender, but for me this was the only option I could find and so I can't be too picky.

This fender flops around a bit, but is still pretty sturdy. I took a spill and the quick release released. The fender did not break and I snpped it right back onto its mount.
