This is simple and a well used concept. Mount the back plate to the wall, assemble the front part with two nuts at the angle you like and put in on the backplate, then hang your deer skull on it. There are plenty of these out there at all kinds of price points. This one is a pretty good price point. It does swivel side to side if you want that. I didn't so I dropped a little super glue on it to fix the "hook" at a 90 degree angle out from the backplate.

I accidentally bought the version of this for the smaller sized skulls and it didn't fit the hole in the back of the skull. So, I bought this version and it's perfect! It's very easy to put together, made of really nice quality, and holds up my bison skull seamlessly. It does it's job and does it well It's worth how much money it is. I'm able to adjust which direction I want it to go. You can't see it when the skull is put up, almost makes it look like the skull is floating. Will consider this option for future skulls!

I received this mount with the intentions of using it for a European mount of a white tail. There is several ways that you could utilize this for different skulls besides white tail deer. I think it is pretty cool that once mounted the head can swivel to whatever direction you want it whether right, left, or straight ahead. Seems solid and if you decided to change the mount out to a different one its as simple as lifting up and putting a different mount. I'm not sure what all animals it would work on but I could see it working for quite a few.

This isn't an overbuilt skull hanger but it is built plenty heavy enough for a deer sized skull. I like the multiple different adjustments you can do depending on the skull, how it hangs and where you are placing it on the wall. This is a nice little unit that for the price I would totally buy again. It is not has heavy duty as the expensive ones but plenty durable in my mind with a great price tag. Recommend for sure

I already have four deer skulls on the wall at my cabin, but this mount is much better. Here are the advantages:* It is made of thick steel and has a heavy-duty rustic look* It is adjustable for the up/down angle of the skull* It is adjustable for the left-right angleMy other mounts just have the skulls straight with no adjustment. This one makes the skull more interesting by having it "look" a little left or right. Very nice!NOTE: If you're mounting on a sheet rock wall, use some decent wall anchors. The included cheap plastic ones end up spinning in the sheet rock and just don't work well. The good thing is if you use the cheap ones and they don't work for you (likely the case), the damage is minimal and a normal wall anchor will use a bigger hole anyway.

This is a fantastic wall hanger for your skull mount. I have used it to hang a whitetail skull from last deer season. I had also tried a mount that has a weighted base and is freestanding, but I wanted something that could be hung on the wall. Some out there are very basic, holding the skull very close to the wall and allowing for no adjustment. Those mounts are cheap, but I wouldn't recommend them. This one - the design looks very nice. Not too flashy but not just a basic metal mount, either. It is also nice because it is adjustable. You can customize the angle your head sits at as well as the way it faces. This looks really nice on the wall because of that. The part that holds the skull is also the way you want it. I've tried some that only have one middle section that goes in the skull, and they don't feel very secure. This design holds it very securely to the mount. This is a great option for wall mounting your skull, and I would recommend.
