I worked in a laboratory for many years and recently started teaching my two young elementary-age grandkids how to prepare slides and view them under my high-end microscope. I forgot how expensive lab items are but I wanted a staining rack and when I saw this I ordered it. This is a very high-quality rack, very sturdy, and stays when I stretch it over the sink in my laundry room. The kids are learning how to carefully put the slides on the rack for staining. I would suggest you measure the width of your sink before ordering this slide staining rack.

This rack is exactly as described! Craftsmanship is of high quality and is very sturdy. It is simple to set up and is adjustable to most sink sizes. Once positioned, the rack is highly stable. Additionally, this rack is well priced, especially for the quality of the item. All-in-all, this is a great purchase that I highly recommend!

This does exactly what you need it to...hold slides in place for staining. It's cheap and really isn't much but it does get the job done. It does allow you to adjust it for different sink sides but my lab sink it barely was long enough. It's also rather flimsy to adjust but otherwise its stainless steel and keeps my slides balanced.

simple to set-up and adjustable to sink size. Slides to be stained should be lay flat and centered so as not to fall over.
