Slip on? More like wiggle push and twist on. This fits in my setup PERFECTLY! I removed my old all in one tub and shower and got a new setup. My valve was designed for a shower and hand held shower, but I used the hand held shower for the tub spout instead. THIS, makes a perfect tub spout and gives the hand held shower the ability to be used! Excellent for rinsing your hair after a bath, rinsing the puppy after a bath, and rinsing the tub clean after a bath! I found a nice push button vacuum hand held shower holder to complete the setup and my testing of this was flawless! Loving it!

I wish it didn't leak, it seems like the engineering shouldn't have taken much more effort or material cost. It works, but it's disappointing every time I look at it.

I'm still waiting for my contractor to install this but I'll post my initial impressions on the components received, then add any install comments once completed. The chrome finish of the tub spout looks very nice, and the diverter addition is nicely integrated. The internal components look to be well-finished and good quality. The hardware also looks to have good build quality; all of the threads and seals look to be well defined fit properly.This looks to be a nice value tub spout for a reasonable price.

My children aren't tall enough to reach the handheld shower head. Their shower bathtub faucet needed to be replaced because it was getting hard to keep the shower going. I have reinstalled my handheld shower head to this new faucet, and replace the original shower head back on. Now they enjoy the shower more.

it is a great product, easy to install it comes with an adaptor. this product is secure and not leaking from both ends and I recommend to all my friends.

It's a great product, but the direction is horrible. Follow these steps: Clean the pipe and lubricant the pipe and the o ring. Caulk inside the pipe hole and fill it to keep water out. I use clear gorilla construction caulk. Slide the faucet over the pipe it will stop once you slide it in, so do not push. Turn it clockwise until it is flushed with the wall. Caulk around it, and then you are done.

Install this and the side piece with the connector goes did not last a full week and while under pressure it blew out and won’t stay sealed back in trying to put it back together so it’s made a cheap plastic on the inside and everything was installed for the instructions so I don’t see where it could only last a week now I have to find a better one with better interior parts not cheap plastic

I really didn't have room (and don't like the appearance) near the shower head for a large-sized hand-held shower and hose, so this was a great alternative. I've found that it's much easier to rinse out the tub and wash the shower enclosure with the hose at this lower level. It'd be great for pet baths, too, I'm sure. I don't have kids, but I bet this would be equally handy!
