This greace works. It stays where you put it. It smooths and significantly reduces friction in your slide function. I am very impressed with this grease and certain it will reduce cleaning and maintenance as it has already surpassed my usual service routine and looks like as fresh as the day I first put it on my 1911 & my polymer framed race pistol.

Ive been using the same syringe of grease since Oct of 2021. Using to lube 2 duty pistols and rifles as well as my personally owned weapons. This stuff lasts forever, doesnt burn off, reduces carbon buildup, and doesnt emitt fumes. Easily the best weapons lubricant on the market and i plan to use it for the rest of my shooting days.

I've been using Slip 2000 for over a decade on all of my pistols and rifles. The syringe applicator makes it easy to apply thin beads along pistol rails, on the lugs of my deer rifle, and on my ARs bcg.

Having used all kinds of oils, CLPs and grease when I came across Slip2000 EWG I wasn't sure what to expect.I have had really good experiences with some oils--good lubrication, and longevity, no odor.;; as well as some decent ones with CLPs and grease. However, once I tried this stuff, it made everything else seem like water and inferior. Here's why:1) It's the perfect viscosity. Not too runny like many greases, or too thick. Just right at where it goes on smoothly but stays put.2) It's odorless.3) WOW the lubrication is as good as any lubricant I've used--oil, grease, CLP, etc. And even after firing many rounds, check your rails, barrel, etc, you will still feel the grease and it's lubricating! It's protecting which is WHY you want grease NOT oil.4) After using it on my 2011's, compacts, bolt-actions, semi-rifles, etc. in hot and cold weather, the protection is fantastic and has not caused any issues on any platform. I have not seen ANY other lubricant where it worked as well on everything. Usually an oil, or grease based on its weight/thickness worked a little better on one or the other.5) Makes clean-up so much easier too. Carbon wipes off easy!6) *bonus* great on knives and literally even diving in salt water it STILL beaded off.

You name it, I’ve used it. Every other grease seems to separate, leave residue, attract dirt and grit. Not this stuff.Cleanup is literally a snap, just a paper towel or old microfiber cloth removes all carbon and unturned particles from every surface in the firearm. This grease stays put, doesn’t migrate in a carried weapon, doesn’t attract dirt or lint, never dries out, works fine in cold, and does an outstanding job with steel on alloy frames such as P-series SIGs while making the frame to slide interface feel like a custom job.The syringe is perhaps the most expensive way to buy this by weight, which is why I dinged it one star, but it’s precise and reduces waste while taking little space in your range bag.Have used it for countless IDPA and a few USPSA matches and a dozen Gunsite classes and alumni competitions for years, never any issues at all, and no appreciable wear on any of my firearms.Remember, if it slides, use grease. If it rotates, Slip2000 oil is great, too.

Great product. Sticks in all the right places & is easily applied. Better containment for original shipping would give it the 5th star.

I have been using gun oil on my guns for years and years. I never really tried using grease, partly because it seemed like it would be a messy job and I would probably wind up with grease where I didn't want it, etc.Deciding to give the Slip 2000 a try, I am impressed! I have used Slip 2000 on several guns now, and I really like its performance. I could feel the difference immediately on the first gun I lubed with it. The slide racked much smoother and quieter than it does with just oil. Applying the Slip 2000 grease is also very easy to do with this syringe. It is easy to get just a dab directly into the slide rails with the tip. To prevent the grease from continuing to run out of the syringe, simply pull the plunger back out slightly. The application can be very precise. For larger application areas, I just dab a bit on and use a fingertip to smear around. There is still, and will always be a place for good old oil. Some parts of the gun need a drop of oil rather than grease. But there are several reasons to consider using grease instead for general lubrication:1. It stays where you put it. Unlike oil, grease is thick and does not run or drip. The dab you put in the slide rails will still be there the next time you clean the gun. How many times have you field stripped your gun after a day at the range and thought "where the heck did all the oil go?". With grease, you won't have that issue.2. Resistance to heat. This grease is made for lubricating parts that get hot. After a day consisting of an IDPA match, some practice, and shooting a qualifier event - all the grease I had applied to the outside of the barrel was sill there - still moist - still lubricating. Oil would have been long gone!3. Resistance to gravity. After oiling a gun and either hanging it up or lying it down, the oil immediately begins to drain to the lowest area (and sometimes out completely). Yes, you'll still have a very thin coating of oil, but not nearly what you had applied. I know this is a little redundant to my first point, but this relates more to storage than use.One syringe of Slip 2000 should last quite awhile. At the price, it's a great value and a top notch lubricant for your guns.
