They worked fine. Just need to wash with soap and water to get rid of the colors before using them.

I don't understand why people dislike this so much. The main reason i use it is for spit. Redundant to say but it does that very well. Sure it takes like 1db away and i don't really care about the plosives. Been washing it with soap and water and no damage whatsoever. Will keep holding up for pretty long.

Love the quality, was able to stretch this over a Maono HD300T mic with no issues. Material is high quality and did not seem like it will tear easily. Better solution than the huge pop filter that comes with the mic.

This is a very good pop filter for the price. The quality of the foam is not quite as good as the first-party Shure filter, however, the fit is better. The Shure filter has just a straight cut into the foam for the mic so there is a gap around the body of the microphone. The YouShares has a shaped cutout inside that fits the SM58 ball more neatly. As far as sound quality, I cannot discern a significant difference between the two. Definitely recommended!Edit: these come in compressed packaging, presumably to save space when shipping. I got mine into proper shape quickly by running warm water over them and then squeezing them dry in paper towels.

I mean i know that they aren't dedicated for getting rid of the pops like pop filters but they do an okay job.5 stars though because they are great at what they do (wind protections etc) when playing live in an open space.
