Using Method

When you receive it, please put it upright horizontally for 6 hrs before plugging it up. It is less efficient than a compressor refrigerator, which needs around 6~8 hrs to get cold at the first use. Please set the temperature at the lowest and plug it in 110 V and test if it is cold inside and heated on the back after 6~8 hrs. So it is with the 12 V. Please don't use 2 kinds of power supply at the same time. Please don't use house batteries or solar batteries when using DC 12V, it is recommended to use it on a car cigarette lighter. If there is one voltage not working, just tell us, and we will handle it for you immediately.

  • Please keep VENTILATED when using GAS(we have the vent kit in our store). NEVER install gas appliances in unventilated places.
  • This is a noiseless absorption refrigerator. No sounds heard doesn't mean it's not working.
  • It needs 6~8 h to cool from 90 ℉ to (32~50 ℉) in an empty state on electricity. If it is full of cold food, the time needed is 2~4 h. It's more efficient on propane and cools fast.
  • Please adjust the foot to make sure the fridge top(bottom) surface is horizontal when you use it. When slant angle > 5°, the cooling unit may be blocked and stop cooling.
  • Trouble Shooting: Heater failure-Replace heater. Cooling unit blocked-

1. Put it upside down for 8 h. 2. Put it upright for 8 h. 3. Plug it up.

I needed a small fridge for my tiny home that could run on 5 lb propane tank. This fit the bill perfectly. Arrived at my rural location without a scratch. So simple to set up and keeps food very cold Freezer plenty big for one person also.

I've only used the propane and 120v (city plug in). I'm happy overall but there were many hiccups at first. The door does not reverse. There isn't a full instruction manual included. It comes with a short safety brochure that tells you how not to blow yourself up. I had to email extensively with the company to get the actual manual. I travel full time with a camper. Leveling the fridge is mandatory. Size wise and performance wise, it's pretty good. The full manual really is necessary for proper functioning. I hope they include it in future packaging.

Edit: The unit has failed after a dozen weekends. No part numbers are listed in the manual, and no response from the seller. Nine hundred bucks wasted.Edit: failed after a dozen weekends. No response from the seller, no parts seem to be available. Nine hundred wasted dollars. This unit reached external Temps greater than 160 degrees, and inside Temps over 90 degrees. In a refrigerator. I disconnected the batteries and moved the RV away from structures. Smelled like burning plastic. This is perfect addition to my skoolie. Works well. Watch out for shipping damages. Came with a few dings that I didn’t see.

After having it installed in our camper it will not stay running with gas. It keeps going out. We have had everything checked at added cost and can't seem to,keep it running with gas.Suggestions please. I want to exchange it but can't get through to Amazon to find out about it. Very unhappy and sad that a fridge costing almost $900.00 won't work properly. Call 207 402 0923 Ask for Jon. Thank,you.5/24/20After trying to contact Smad through customer service at Amazon many times, and looking on Google to find machine number and address. I only got a phone number for China. Finally after doing chats with several different Amazon reps, I was given an email address. Yay! That worked and after many back and forth messages with Victoria, and trying what they she told us to try, to get the propane part to work properly, we decided that it must defective. She gave us other refridgerators to choose from, and was very helpful. She said we could return it for another one like the one we bought, but it wasn't going to be available for at least a month. After thinking about the time frame and needing to get the new one sooner, we decided to return it for a refund. She emailed us a return lable to just at FedEx. We sent it back and got our refund the day they received it.My original rating was low because I couldn't reasons Smad to ask what to do or to send the Refridgerator back. That was very frustrating. Their company doesn't have any contact information on the user Manuel, fridge or anywhere. I gave Victoria that feedback and hope they will correct that so other customers won't have to go through so much trouble to reach them.I will change my rating based on my interaction with Victoria to 4 stars for her helpfulness. But not 5 because of all,the trouble and time it took to locate them.

Suffered some damage in shipping but tried it in all 3 modes. 120 volts, propane gas and finally with 12 volt deep discharge battery all successfully. In propane mode it made a container half full of water into a solid block of ice overnight and only half way on temp control. I used a turkey fryer regulator which had a valve on it. No good. You must use a std regulator. The customer service people answered overnight and were entirely professional. It's pretty nice inside and out and should last a long time with care.

Perfect for my work shop. Holds the temp steady. Took a few days tweaking the temp til it was just right and it doesn’t vary after I found the spot I wanted. Operating on propane only which was my plan.

This absorption refrigerator works great. I have only tred it on 12 volt and 120 volt. It pull right at 150 watts and holds a just above freezing in the refrigerator zone and freezes in the freezer zone. The configuration is different from the pictures with the controls on top. I think that is more convenient place.1/14/2022 I use this as a bar refrigerator. It had been working over 4 years and help save us when the main house refrigerator went down. These refrigerator have no moving parts and just work with no noise.
