I'm not sure what to make of this little plastic mail sorter. I certainly wasn't expecting something that I had to put together! I was envisioning a solid plastic piece or maybe two pieces that snap together, but in fact you put in all the slots and four little white Popsicle stick looking items between each slot. It was almost like putting together a puzzle - whether you think that's good or bad is up to you. The final product looks pretty good, but I was expecting it to be all clear but instead it's clear with a white bottom and big gold hardware that hold it together. I guess you could say that it looks fancier? But an item like this doesn't need to be fancy in my opinion.

My very small desk was feeling overrun with stuff so I wanted a very small tiered organizer to help me get a bit more organized and to recover a bit of desk space. This simple and unobtrusive design looked like just the ticket.It took me less than 5 minutes to assemble using my Phillip's screwdriver (just 2 screws). It became clear during assembly that what I first thought was a quirky/fussy design with all the popsicle-stick like pieces attached in a row, was actually a clever way to allow the user to decide the width of each tier by adding fewer/greater sticks to each section. Once completed and the screws tightened, the rack is quite sturdy.Now, the few things that I reach for all the time -- my phone, my notepad with to-do list, a file folder I'm currently working with -- are now neatly organized in the stand and the vertical tiers make them easy to spot and to quickly grasp. I've recovered some desk space, too, which was what I wanted.

My bedroom in my apartment is considerably small. Therefore I try to make use of things for multiple purposes. My desk where I write, paint, draw, do art and work on my laptop is also where I sit to do my makeup and nails. My desk top is really crowded and cluttered and no matter what I try to do, I cannot seem to organize it enough to where it's less cluttered and chaotic. This mail organizer was so desperately needed, not only for organizing clutter but also helping me keep track of important papers and specific dates and deadlines. Getting this organizer, i was so amused at the overall design! I kind of love it!✅ EASY ASSEMBLY: when first opening the box of parts, it can be a little overwhelming just because it looks like there are SO MANY different pieces and parts. it can seem really confusing and very complicated. however, just glancing at the assembly instructions that are included, it took me less than 5 minutes to fully assemble it, and get it set up and filled exactly how i wanted and intended it to look and function✅ INNOVATIVE + FUN + MODERN DESIGN: seeing that it needed to be assembled had me momentarily puzzled, but then seeing that its fully acrylic made all the sense. i really hadn't expected the organizer to be of this kind of modern and innovative design. it makes perfect sense when truly sitting there and thinking about how these kinds of organizers are made and how they look. so to be able to create one of these organizers with such a simple and basic layering/stacking kind of design is really awesome. i appreciate the creativity and analytical thinking that led up to this overall design and the way it's so easily assembled.✅ ADJUSTABLE SLOTS: because of the way it is designed and furthermore, assembled, the slot widths are fully adjustable and customizable. you can put the dividers in wherever you please making it as wide or as narrow as you please. it's all assembled by layers that make up the bottom of the organizer and by simply moving a few of the plates that make up these layers, you can fully customize the entire structure of the organizer.✅ STABLE + STURDY: despite being held all together by two screws and two rods that run the length of the bottom of the organizer, once you tighten both screws in the back of it, you can literally feel how sturdy and solid it is. if you align the rods and screws correctly (which is impossible to not do so), it will sit leveled and be securely solid. it's not very heavy, but it still has enough weight that it shouldn't toppled backwards even if you put all the bigger, heavier pieces of mail in the very back slot.it's not a very big organizer, nor would it hold a lot of mail, but for basic desktop organization, it works and functions exactly as i need it to with no issues. i love that the dividers are transparent so you can see through them, it just adds to the aesthetic of it. i really love it. it's a decent value and quality for your money if you want something a little different than your typical and average mail filer. i highly recommend this! ♡◼ 📌 OVERALL RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FIVE STARS ————————————————♡

This is a really nice letter holder because it's adjustable. Because of the way it's created there are several options to how big each of the sections is. It will hold some very thin things and some very thick things. It's really easy to assemble and each of the pieces is well-made so when it's fully assembled it's very sturdy. It's a good value.

I got this Area JD desktop organizer to help sort mail, and for the price, it’s super cute and functional! However, putting it together was like solving a jigsaw puzzle, not necessarily hard, just tedious. It does come with a video tutorial, which is helpful, but I would have expected something at this price point to be easier to assemble or pre-assembled.That said, once it’s put together, it looks great and does the job well. it’s on the small side, which is clearly listed in the description and actually what I was looking for. It’s light but sturdy. If you don’t mind a little patience during setup, it’s a great value for organizing your space!
