Easy to Install
1. Remove ceiling fan canopy from the mounting bracket
NOTE: Remove power from the circuit.Otherwise power can cause serious injury or death.
2. Installing receiver in ceiling fan
The receiver wires are labelled, and the wires all have the correct color codes. Same color wire connects together Blue to Blue, Black to Black, White to White.
ATTENTION: Wire color maybe different in very old fans
3. LEARN KEY
Use the LEARN key to match the receivers.
4. Install a CR2032 battery
Install a CR2032 battery in the remote, and you can control your fan now.

Please double check the size of receiver carefully before order to make sure there is enough space in the canopy of your fan.

If you have a ceiling fan that is hard wired, this is an excellent way to add remote control to it. The remote itself will mount to the wall in it's own little box that makes it look like a switch on the wall (and you don't have to run any wires to it), and it's removable so you can bring it to the couch or bed with you if you don't want to keep getting up. It also integrates well with Alexa so it adds the smart aspect as well. For the price, it's worth picking up if you're in the right situation.

This smart switch set for my ceiling fan is great. It was fairly easy to install too. The control box is installed in the base of my fan. I installed the wall control box in my living room where the fan is. I can simply touch it and the lights or fan will turn on or off. I can set speeds and timers too. I love being able to control my ceiling fan with the app and my Alexa.
