I set up the password for this safe and it worked fine. Next day the password reverted to the original, default password. I don't trust it to work if I try setting the password again. The biometric password works. I set a new passcode on the cable lock, tested it several times and it worked. Now it doesn't work and I can't get it to reset. I can't find a replacement cable lock for it as it appears to be a proprietary one. This make the produce worthless for me as I bought it to secure handguns in my unattended vehicle as required by state law. It's now a paper weight as far as using it for my intended purposes.

I was in search of a security box to keep a small firearm in that way it did not get into the hands of anyone. It should not. This was a perfect storage solution for me. It is built very heavy duty. It is easy to access comes with back up keys and cable to fasten it to, anything of your choice

I will start off by saying that this wasn’t easy to program the instructions were vague. With a little help from YouTube I was able to get programmed once set up it worked perfectly. This safe is well built. It is on the larger size so make sure you account for the size and placement. If you don’t mind the programming challenges very well worth it for the price. One of my favorite features are the notifications in real time. app provides this function that will put your mind an ease.

I really like this safe. I reviewed quite a few nightstand storage safes and this one met my requirements. Setup was easy and quick. My only problem was with the security cable. There were no instructions with it. I contacted the seller and was given some instructions that I tried but didn't work. Now I am stuck with a useless cable and lock. I am waiting to hear again from the seller about what my options are.
