The idea of this gave me high hopes, sadly it's not a very effective faraday cage. I've taken two different RF meters to it and it didn't even cut the signal in half. You also need to factor in the RF signals that pass through the other side into the home. I spent a good hour or so with one meter on each side and then one in the front and one at the 'corner' and you can see pretty big spikes in the RF signal. I'd give it 1 star, but since it does reduce some of the RF signal being projected outward, it's not enough to be considered effective.

This fit my electric meter great. A little large on height and circumference- but that's better than being too small. Two heavy duty zip ties were provided and they kept the cover in place.We've been getting a lot of wind damage in Texas lately so I kept checking to make sure this cover hadn't blown away and to my surprise this cover stayed put. The electric company was out twice today removing a broken branch laying on my line from the utility pole and again to tighten the line to the house. They didn't say a word about using the cover even though they were working right next to it.For the money I think this is a great value and I would reccomend it

The zip tie broke, by hand, before I even got to it with the pliers. Had to use 3 of my own zip ties to replace it since it's so long. The cover itself seems to be at a much higher build quality and fit perfectly. Never got a meter so I'm I can't give you the numbers. So basically, read more reviews until you see what this cover is statistically capable of since that is what will determine its value.

I like using faraday bags for my electronics and even faraday fabrics to wrap around things. So when I saw this, I thought it would be a great idea – especially since I’ve heard such horrible stories about how Smart meters negatively impact health. I got it and put it on the Smart meter outside our house. It fit! Great!But as soon as I put it on, I realized that it might reduce EMF radiation out the front and sides of the Smart meter – but there’s nothing on the back side preventing all that EMF radiation from going straight into the house!In order to know if this product really helps us inside the house, which is why I got it, I would have to take an EMF reading from inside the house before and after putting this on the Smart meter, which I can’t do at the moment. Maybe someone else will do this experiment and prove whether this product makes a difference in EMF radiation coming out the back of the Smart meter into the house.Until then, all I have to go by is the information on the Amazon page. I can say, though, that the material this is made from does look like the actual faraday cage material I have from other products, so it looks legit. It is made well and is the right size. So no stars removed for all that. Whether it makes a difference is the real burning question in my mind.

I am waiting for my friend to return my EMF meter so I will UPDATE my review by mid Feb 2025. Wanted to say the fit was excellent: for the 2 second, super easy installation, I tightened the neck of the cloth with the intended zip tie, leaving a tiny bit of wiggle, so the METER READER person can slide it off with just a tiny bit of two hands effort, because I CAN READ the numbers through the cloth, but maybe other ppl will find fault, you know. We have opted for the NON SMART METER, but we have TWO due to solar panels, thus a human must visit, monthly, for these two reasons in my city. I know these are designed for SMART METERS, but I fear EMFs gotta be present amongst this grouping of (solar) devices. Perfect simplicity, and exactly what I was hoping to find. Many thanks for offering tools to keep us safe, and Caring to create it with pride of workmanship, and simplicity, and get it out to us masses! Once I test it , I will be ordering more for Family and friends. Thank you! God Bless, namaste
