This has been so awesome to have. I have had it for 4 years now, all 3 battery’s still work great! I even washed one in the washer on accident 3 years ago and it still works great! Highly recommend if you want to save money on buying batteries all the time

I admit it, I don't play video games nearly as much as I used to. My xbox is more of a video streaming system than a game system. Most of those apps work well with my media remote; gaming controllers are just to use for those few apps that don't work with the remote, like the browser. The batteries keep a charge for a long time, and even though I try to pay attention and remove the battery from the charger soon after it's topped up, I have forgotten several times and nothing has melted or started a fire. The only improvement I can think of is having the +/- indicators on the charger stand out more so it's easier to see which way to load the battery.

I purchased this as a replacement for controller batteries that are several years old and no longer charging. I also wanted longer use between charges. This charger and batteries and working very well. So far, my only complaint is that I cannot buy a couple more battery packs without buying another charger. The batteries charge just fine. They are slightly snug in the controller. The life of the charge is excellent. I find them lasting at least 3 times longer than my older batteries that hold half the charge. Nice! The charging time is fine. I actually find that fast charging is harder on the batteries so I like how this charges as well.If you are looking for controller batteries for XBox that last longer than most, this is it. I thought the price was very fair as well.

I've had these rechargable batteries for over a year now, and they still hold a good charge and work fantastic. I am not an extreme gamer, but I play occassionally if that makes a difference. I have no issues with battery life, as even when I was gaming hard, they last me about a good 12 hours at least and I'll just pop one out, put the other in and recharge it while i carry on. It's really not a big deal to me to have to rechange a battery after a whole day of gaming. I would absolutely buy this again if I needed it.

I read a lot of mixed reviews on these types of batteries, and decided to try this brand out for myself anyways. I was using premium high capacity rechargeable AA batteries in my Xbox controllers that worked good, but I wanted something better that could be recharged easier and changed out of the controllers a little easier. I've only had these batteries a few months, but they're holding up great. I had around 14-15 hours of steady use on one of my batteries playing Fortnite one day, but I changed it out for a fresh battery before the controller went dead figuring I got enough use out of it. Keep in mind that these are Nickel Metal Hydride batteries and that they need to be treated/charged properly to avoid a memory affect or overcharging issues. I've dealt with a lot of batteries over the years being in a two-way radio business. I would suggest that you fully charge the batteries when you first get them, then use them in your controller until the voltage drops to the point that it shuts off, and perform that same charge/discharge cycle at least 3 times to condition the batteries and help them take on a full charge. I then try to use the batteries at least 12 hours or more before I put them in the charger, and I rotate them to make sure one doesn't sit in the charger any longer then the others. NiCd and NiMh batteries can develop a memory affect that can be reduced/avoided by fully depleting the batteries before charging them. If you only use them for let's say 4, 6, or 8 hrs at a time before placing them into a charger, they can develop a memory and only charge up to that point where they only last 4, 6 or 8 hours before they go dead. It sucks when a game controller goes dead in the middle of a game, but I'd rather get the 15 hours of use I'm seeing out of my batteries before it happens instead of every 4-8 hours. I'll keep cycling them through the charger the way I've described and try to make updates to my review to let you know how well they hold up and last.

The lights don't always indicate in the right colors, but it still works like it should. Battery life is decent at first, but i have older ones that don't seem to last nearly as long. Still a decent amount though. Unfortunately, there is no option to purchase the batteries without the charger, but the price offsets that slight inconvenience.
