Compré este cable para reponer el que mis perros se comieron. La única diferencia con el que venía con los audífonos cuando los compramos es un detalle insignificante: el relieve que indica la alineación del cable con el audífono no está pintada de blanco. Ese detalle es absolutamente irrelevante. El cable ajusta perfectamente y los audífonos han vuelto a funcionar sin problema alguno.

I needed this product before a trip, so I couldn’t get an OEM cable because it would arrive too late.As seen in the picture, the lock line isn’t correct, as this photo shows the cable locked without being lined up, and when lined up the cable doesn’t lock.The audio quality is slightly lower quality, however that is expected from a non-OEM cable. It will work for now, until I can get an OEM cable.This will work for trips.

It is a good replacement if you need one but it is not as supple or as well made as the original. Maybe it needs to be broken in. Also, the white line that lines up on the headphone side is missing but that does not affect functionality, just the look and feel. Another issue is that the line that indicates if it's in the locked position, does not line up with the line on the headphones. Again that is not a problem, it just makes it feel janky.

The quality of the cable and the sound is also good, but I purchased this so I could add some distance between the device and me sitting down and leaning back to listen with my headphones. After plugging in this 4-foot cable, it is definitely not a relaxed cable that stretches easily. It seriously pulls back after stretching only 2-feet to the point that I had to hold my headphones on my head. I was worried about the tension on my receiver as well. If I stretched it any more, it may pull out of the receiver and sling into my eye. While the cable is fairly high quality, I think this makes a better slingshot than an audio cable, unless you are sitting right next to the device. If you want to sit 9 feet away, bring clamps to hold off the tension.I was expecting a relaxed coil so I could easily stretch this to about 7 to 8 feet away from the device. For the life of me, I cannot understand the point of having this so-called 10' length cable that fights you when you stretch it to 5 feet and beyond.It's a nice cable, but worthless.

I recently decided to buy a new pads and a cable for my headphones and this new cable made me realize just how much my old pair had been through. My old cable (on the left) was recently being used as a chew toy by my cat so there’s a lot of teeth marks there, and the coils barely touched each other anymore. On top of that, I had completely lost the old adapter and finally having this to use to check my mic quality is such a relief.

I didn't realize when I ordered this that are two versions of the Audio Technica ATH-M50x headphones, one is older, hard wired (no removeable cable) and the other has a removeable cable. I found out after I ordered this that I had the older version. The cable looks fine, just no way to test it.
