I like the legal size the best but both letter and legal size are ideal for papercrafting. The darker brown kraft color also is ideal for a vintage look.

I have every brand and grade of file folder known to mankind. These stand out among my colored ones and they especially stand out for quality. Love them!

I use a lot of files......many stored in cabinets, but also many busy files in file boxes on my desk.....I love the neutral craft paper color, very attractive!!! I will buy again!

I ordered these file folders to intentionally cut up and use as pieces in my junk journal, but they work great as folios and junk journal covers as well. They're very sturdy and very nice coloring thank you smead!

I was surprised that these are so sturdy. I just needed all one color, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. These take a beating when they get packed all over hither and yon. They seemed spendy to me, but the quality makes it worth it.

I purchased these file folders from Amazon hoping that they would be as good as ones I had been using from the 70's. Surprisingly they seem identical. There is a decent thickness to the card and the edges are crisply cut. In comparison to a standard manilla folder these are a bit nicer with a mottled brown appearance and are more robust.

Thicker and sturdier than regular file folders.

I can't find manila folders anymore that have the stiffness and durability you used to find maybe 15 years ago. These Kraft folders are the answer to that. They are durable and rigid enough to stand up neatly in a vertical file without bending. One drawback is the reinforced double-thick edge along the top. The extra thickness is great, but it is made by gluing an extra layer of Kraft material and the gluing job is not thorough. Rather than a continuous glue job, in some batches of folders the extra layer is just tacked on in a few spots along the length. Sometimes the edge of a sheet of paper gets caught there.

I do mixed media art projects, and I like to use ordinary items in my art work. Without going into too much detail, these folders are a source of great card stock, good weight, color, good price...what more can I say? And if I need to file, well, it's a great folder. But it's much more valued to me as a craft supply. Wheee!
