I found it a little difficult to dispense this soldering paste. I don't see any other reviews mentioning that, so maybe it's just me. The paste does work well.

I initially got this to try it out on a circuit board repair that has some very small surface mount components. Being used to traditional soldering I was curious how quickly I could adjust to using paste. As this has a much lower melting point of 138℃ it will work well with very small components that could easily be damaged by excessive heat. It also comes with a selection of micro tips for precise applications which works best on smaller scale projects. There are lots of videos on how to use this paste but I had mixed results on my few attempts. I tried using both a micro torch with a heat nozzle and also a variable temperature soldering iron. I was getting fair results with the heat nozzle but felt like I had better control with the fine tipped soldering iron. The resistor component I was replacing was ultra small and I probably needed more practice but I can see how this can work well for chips and other multi-pinned surface mount components.I also do a lot of scale model work and this works great for bonding small scale brass plate and tubing. Whether its electrical or mechanical, beginning with a clean surface is paramount for this solder paste to flow. It's important to control the application of heat but when used correctly you can get some great results. I will be trying the higher temp version of this also to compare it's workability. At the current price of $11.99, this is a good material to include with your soldering kit but be aware that it may take some time and practice to get the desired results.

The low temp lead free solder tin is really a must have. I've been soldering on mics and charging ports onto PCB boards. While using standard solder requires a higher melting point which in return causes the plastic components on the board to start melting, aside for it not being the best practice having hot air with your rework station on the mother board for too long. So, using this low melting tin is a must have for those soldering parts that have plastic or alike in them like a charging port. The few tips they give you together with the tin works really well, and allows for a slow flow to get exact area's, while keeping your board mess free from tin all over the place.Comes In a little plastic pouch to store the tin and tips to keep them together and easy to access.Really easy to push up on the syringe to get the tin flowing. Overall seems to be working well and would definitely buy from this company another pack when I finish my 1st tube of tin.

I needed to replace some SMD components on a control board and needed some easy to use reflow solder to make sure the new components are soldered properly.This fits the bill.Completed the work successfully and the board is working again...
