I would not risk using this on a venomous pit viper bite, but highly recommend for Bee and Wasp stings. This give almost instant relief for stings by pulling the venom out.

Please check "national snakebite support group" on Facebook which is staffed by venomous snake medical experts and will guide you through getting expert care or contact any venomous snake remover they will all tell you that in the best case these do nothing. If bitten by a rattlesnake, copperhead or water moccasin elevate the area above the heart contact 911 or poison control and get to the nearest hospital out of approximately 5000 bites per year less than 5 people generally die in the US. Do not use a torniquet or you will increase the difficulty of treatment.

This was a gift for our granddaughter who is in college and she is always walking in the woods here in Georgia. It is small enough to fit in her backpack
