Handles are made of cheap plastic. Very strong metal smell even after washing, but otherwise seems pretty durable.

wayyyy bigger than I thought they would be but im very thankful for that! for the price tag they are absolutely amazing, they are strong and sturdy and have little teeth so that feeding time is so much easier for my snakes!

The tongs I've been buying are super flimsy and I got tired of it. After dealing with a lot of bending tongs, I decided to try these.Overall, I am pretty happy. They're pretty heavy duty. The downside is that they're heavy, in my opinion. I don't necessarily need something THIS heavy for ball pythons.

The long-nose scissors is well made, and easy to manipulate. The point of the scissors is designed to grasp.This tool needs to be in every workshop for a variety of uses, e.g., retrieving items in tight places, handling hot items, as well as small critters, like snakes, etc.Definite thumbs up.MDC

I needed something for my daughter because the tongs we had were where you just squeeze them and she kept dropping the fuzzy every time we were trying to feed our snake.So these have a serrated edging on them and when you close the tongs they stay closed, which holds the mouse in place. She didn’t have any issue feeding this last time.The only thing that I find is the edging is a little bit much especially when you’re feeding a frozen fuzzy because you thaw them and they’re very easy to fall apart if you squeeze too hard. So be careful.Also, they’re a little clunky. However, in our case, we are feeding our corn snake twice a week and my daughter can handle the mouse much easier with the scissor tongs. She is more comfortable in the cage. She loves how long it is so the snakes not getting too close when it’s striking so I feel it’s a solid four star.I like the rubber handles. And I definitely like the length of them. Good product.
