Hard the get it to shrink down with just 1.5 L of water as it's stated. Ended up needing a heat gun after 5 or 6 attempts to use the boiling water method. Once got it to shrink down we got to swing the bat for the first time yesterday and the vibrating that comes out of the handle worse than any tape job I've had in my life. Literally only way I see this girp working well is on a stock bat wrap or brand new wrap and throw this over top. Which could equal out to 60 bucks for grips and that's just insane. Save or time and money and just buy bat tape. These look cool but that's where it ends

Replaced the old and worn out wrap on my daughter’s bat. She loves the comfort and tackiness of the grip. Highly recommend for you expensive bats.

Somewhat easy to put on except they need a better way to figure out how much to leave at end to cover the knob of the bat. Looked good at first but gets dirty way to quick.

This grip still never shrunk down at the knob end of the bat. The sticky residue on the grip I have tried to wash off because my daughter hates it, but it won’t wash off and only picks up dirt from her hands so after one use was extremely dirty looking. We are cutting this one off after a weeks use and won’t purchase again. My daughter loved the design but hates everything else about it

The Sniper Skin was easy to install on my son's bat. Only took about 5 minutes to install with a heat gun. Went on smooth and easy, and it looks amazing. I highly recommend this product if you want a one piece grip on your bat with a awesome look.

17 year old loves the feel of the Sniper Skins on his bats. This was the second one purchased for a second bat. He says there hardly any sting or vibration and the grips give great no-slip control. Using them on a CatX and now Baum bat.I like the durability. We couldn't keep wraps on hardly a season, but these are lasting with little to no wear.I use a heat gun to apply the wrap and it works good.

Kid loved it! Was easy to install. If I can do it anyone can! I would recommend having LOTS of boiling water... the recommended wasn't quite enough!

Great concept. The grip is a little sticky after you put it on. You need a heat gun or you can take your chances with boiling hot water and a bottle cap. No thanks, that just sounded like an ER visit. I opted to try the blow dryer because I didn't have a heat gun, and it worked if you're patient. Be careful not to overheat the dryer, that's why they say use the heat gun... but who follows directions anyway. Good grip and fast way to replace a worn out one.

This grip did not work for my daughter, it gives not additional padding for the bat. She did not like way it felt and had a hard time gripping the bat with it. I had to cut it off after one use. Was a waste of money and I couldn’t send it back. Don’t take a chance, grip tape is cheaper and more padded.

It was a little more challenging to install than I thought it would be.First, I positioned the grip on the handle. I did not use the grip strips that adhere to the bat handle underneath the Super Skin. I wanted a thinner feeling on this Axe bat. I also removed some of the excess grip from the knob area prior to setting the grip. I wanted to make sure the grip didn’t go to high up the handle and cover the ink dot.I boiled two quarts of water and went to pour it over the handle. The grip started to shrink slowly. I ran out of hot water before the grip was completely shrunken to the bat. This left air pockets, especially near the axe knob, all throughout the handle.I then trimmed more grip from the knob area. I boiled more water. While the water was boiling I dipped the knob into the boiling water for several seconds. This did the trick. The grip fit snug around the knob.I then had to enlist assistance. I had a friend hold the barrel of the bat and rotate the handle over the sink while I slowly poured the remaining hot water over the handle. This finally got the grip to fit snugly without air pockets or inconsistencies.I grabbed the bat by the handle and applied pressure around the entire grip to make sure the fit was good. All set. However, when trying to dry off the water the grip attracted all the dust off of the towel. It feels good. Maybe with experience I’ll get better at installing these. Price point is a little high, but it seems more durable around the knob, which has always been an issue for bat grips installed on an Axe.
