It unites the functions of a telephone with a high-performance digital amplifier to broadcast announcements and supply background music to assigned rooms, hallways and office floors. Multiple PA1 units can be connected to each other via the built-in switch and can be connected with any speaker available on the market, allowing customers a large contribution of cost savings with already installed components. Our voip provider, voiSip recommended these to us a few years ago.We have since installed several of these around the country, mostly in warehouse locations, but also in a few outside storage lot areas. That is, the speakers are outside, not the PA1 itself.Setup is pretty easy. Just find a good spot to mount it, connect it with network cable back to your router.Log in and configure it as an extension on your phone system. We're using NebulaPBX hosted systems, but any Asterisk based system will work great.Then anytime you dial that extension, the PA auto-answers and lets you announce through the loud speaker.Lots of 3rd party speaker options, depending on how much volume you need.
