I'm not sure if $20 for a bag this size, and made out of this material, is a good or bad price. I got this to actually cart around pieces of my drum set when I go to a gig, so what was important to me was the size and durability. Sure I'd like more padding, but there's no reason for it if you're using this for ski equipment. Perhaps I'd say I wish the material it was made from were a bit thicker, just to pad a bit more against potential brushes and thuds against other objects. It seems sturdy enough, and I'll have a better impression when I've actually used it a few times, but that could be a while since I'm not currently in a band...

This is a great versatile bag to hold your ski boots and maybe helmet and other ski gear. It has the right compartments and is durable

Despite being described in the listing as having a "large capacity", this bag is small – a pair of ski boots fits, but barely. You definitely won't be able to fit a helmet with your boots in this bag. The product description mentions the following – "The boot bag keeps the boots in separate compartments" – which led me to think the bag would have more than one compartment, which it does not. It does have a small mesh compartment on the exterior, just large enough to be able to hold a pair of mitts or a large water bottle.The bag looks nice and the zipper slides smoothly, but the fabric is not very thick, and there are a lot of loose threads. The shoulder strap has very flimsy plastic hooks to connect it to the bag. It doesn't look like it will stand up to the kind of wear and tear that ski equipment will impose on it. The bottom is not reinforced – overall, this boot bag is flimsy and I don't recommend it for ski boots. It would be ok if you're looking for a very lightweight bag to carry light equipment or clothing.

This is a nice well-made bag with a very simple design. Fairly tough material with a handle and shoulder strap. Zippers feel strong and operate smoothly. Has one side mesh pocket on the outside but no additional pockets or dividers inside.Personally, I found it a little snug for our larger ski boots but it has actually worked great for transporting our skates and associated equipment.
