These felting needles are great for repairing damaged items and there is a handle for them. I repaired two wool dryer balls that my dog had chewed.

The kit had everything promised as to needles, finger cots, felting pad, etc., etc.. The quality looks workmanlike and efficient so I anticipate I’ll have good results with my small felting projects. The felting pad they included is very nice indeed. Having two needle holders is great because the multiple needles felt faster while having a single for detail is very handy. It all fits tidily into the silver tin with a little extra room for whatever I may decide to add to it. I confess, I'm a sucker for a tin.

Needles break ridiculously easily. There are no directions telling you how to use the wooden pieces and the needles don’t fit the handles. Meh!

I got this kit to get into needle felting for the first time. The tin box is a nice plus (though the first time, it arrived tented, and I had to do a return-and-replace to get a not dented one). The materials seem high-quality, though it's my first time needle felting, so I might not know what to look for. I hoped this kit would come with everything I need to get started, but it turns out that there are no materials included (i.e., actual felt or wool), and there are no instructions either. Looks like I'll have to look for a guide elsewhere, which is disappointing. At the very least, it would have been nice to include a basic pamphlet with names of the items and their functions so that I could look them up for more information.

This kit contains all the tools you need to get started in needle felting. I am quite impressed with the quality. The metal box is a perfect size to store everything, with a bit of room left over for your projects, and the lid closes securely for travel. The wool had a bit of a musty odor at first, but I rinsed it in vinegar and let it air dry; that cleared it right up. Great purchase!
