I was pleased when I found this Elizabethan cat collar that has a cute look to it! It looks like a big flower. This is much better than the usual plastic cone they give you at the vets, which the pets don’t like and also doesn’t look nice. At least if your pet needs to wear one, this one is soft and cute. HOWEVER, my cat won’t let me put it on her. You need to get your pet’s head in the hole in the center. She fights me tooth and nail, so this won’t work for me. This would have been great if one part of the collar was open and had a Velcro closure so that I could easily fasten and remove it around her neck.

My cat is an anxious licker and has lately taken to licking a small cut which has turned into a big cut on his paw pad. Aside from the topical treatment the vet has recommended keeping our cat in a cone most of the day. This cone does a great job keeping him from licking his rear pads, and masks his blinding desire for revenge. Instead of seeing a tiny panther who wants to gut us, we see a happy sunflower. He is comfortable dreaming of our demise in this cone, and can eat and drink while imagining that he is feasting on his owner. Fortunately he is a 10 lb domestic cat who gets his claws trimmed once a week and likes being a special-boy who gets all the canned food so he has not organized for revenge- yet.Overall a great product, easy to use and a generous exchange program if you order the wrong size.

I am a bit at a loss for words for this cat cone. It is massive and a bit heavy in my opinion for a cat. The manufacturer note they included said to reach out to get a different size and I am going to have to do that. Based on the sizing guidelines I feel like got the right collar HOLE size, but the flower part is bigger than my cat's legs are long, and she is a normal sized cat, albeit fat. Normal leg length, however. She can't walk in this. SO I will be reaching out to the manufacture about trying a smaller size.I think the quality is nice, but if you are in doubt, size down. Make sure you can comfortably place 2 fingers in-between the neck and the collar. They require the space to chew and swallow food, and for comfort, and breathability while in motion. Otherwise you'll constrict their movements, their ability to breathe, and to eat.Overall this is nicely made, and far better than the horrible piece of plastic that my cat was sent home with after dental surgery. The fact they include a card to get a better size after the fact, it leaves me feeling hopeful and leaning toward recommending this because you have their guarantee to fall back on if it doesn't work out.

I’m very impressed with the Soft Cat Cone Collar in yellow and green! It arrived neatly packed in a manufacturer’s box, inside the cone was vacuum-sealed. The packaging was very informative, including precautions about the cone fitting too tightly and tips for preventing your cat from escaping it. There are also two helpful information cards: one with guidelines on how to use the collar properly and another listing foods toxic to cats. The collar itself is soft yet durable, with petals are approximately 0.3" thick, and it’s made of two layers for flexibility and comfort. It’s easy to adjust the fit, and the size tag and care instructions on the collar are very convenient, especially for knowing which size you have if you have multiple. The care instructions recommend machine washing it (no bleach, no hot water, and no ironing). This collar is a great solution for post-surgery recovery or keeping cats from licking wounds, and the overall quality and thoughtful packaging have me very impressed!
