Danik Hook Heavy Duty Stainless Steel
Our Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Danik Hook is the strongest hook we offer, able to lift up to 10,000 pounds under laboratory conditions. The Heavy Duty Stainless Steel hook adapts from 3/8" - 5/8" rope with the push of a lever and has a hook opening that accommodates up to 1 1/16″.

I was excited when I first purchased. Now that I have used them several times, they are not made to withstand any heavy pressure. I use two of them to tie up and the rachets springs broke on both under pressure. The rivets holding them together pulled through. The anti scuff backing came off on my first use.

Although they are great at height adjustment, they do take effort to install as it isn't quick and requires me to use my glasses to install and remove. This though may deter some from making a quick get away with your equipment.

Its simple to use and safe for my boat- I have it in on an 38" ocean sport fisher works great and quick to adjust when needed. The same quality on the fender hook as the original Danik Hooks we have on our river water crafts!! best thing since cold beer on a boat!!!!
