I would give zero stars but the lowest I can give is 1. So I got this thing in the nice little package from China and everything was great until I charged the battery loaded the BB's into the magazine and tried to shoot. This thing is a dud will not shoot in any mode already checked the chamber to make sure no BB's were stuck. In the instructions it also said you can adjust the riffle for different modes depending on the size bb you're using. No matter what I do this thing will not shoot so now it's just a giant paperweight.Do not buy!!!!

I bought this airsoft rifle in mid-June, 2015 and have used it very lightly. The first magazine stopped working in July, I could hear something inside the magazine that broke loose. The second magazine stopped working in mid-August with the same sounding loose piece inside the magazine. At $35-45 per magazine, that's pretty poor quality and probably too expensive to continue its use. Can't recommend this item, although the gun works well. It's the magazines that are terrible.

Briefing:This gun is amazing for a starter. The FPS and ROF is great on this gun and highly competitive with other guns that are much more expensive. If you are looking into starting airsoft this gun is perfect for you at a low price. Most people think that plastic is bad, but this is some durable ABS Plastic. Some Cons:The selector switch on the side may be a problem in getting too loose after a few hours of play. This is a an easy fix and is a common problem for most AK's anyway. All you do is pop the little cover off the base of the selector switch and tighten the switch with a screw driver. Pop the cover back on and you are ready to go.Some info for starters:Buying a smart charger is necessary so you don't kill your battery and I suggest upgrading your battery as well in the long run.

the kalishnikov spetsnaz ak-47 is great with .12 grams it shoots around 445 fps. But with 0.20 it shoots around 370.it is full metal. what is not metal is the mag and some of the area where the fore grip is located. i think that this is a great close combat gun.i recomend this to any one who is great at playing airsoft.NEW EDIT FOR THE GUN JUNE 1 2013: whem i bought this gun on DECEMBER 2012 it cme with a charger and a 9.6 battery know i see it comes with a 8.4 ----- just saying it may have less voltage

My son bought this gun after becoming disappointed with a low quality plastic one. Apparently, the differences are night and day. The Kalishnikov Spetsnaz AK 47 has a fps rating of 502 on the box, but he claims the fps is somewhere between 350-400. The body and gearbox are metal, so it is very durable. The front grip, pistol grip, and stock are constructed from abs plastic, rubberized, and have a great feel. The front grip has a rail for flashlights, grips, and laser sights. The magazine is a wind up hi-cap mag, which holds about 400-500 rounds. This a great gun, and my son loves it.UPDATE September 6, 2014: The gun stills works and has been systematically dropped and abused by my son's careless friends. My son tells me that this gun loses accuracy after about 25 yards.
