The only thing I have to compare accuracy of this meter is plants are looking better after lime to raise ph 1.5, big difference.

So when I opened the box everything was very neatly organized. Everything in its place and you can put everything back in its place. It came with very detailed instructions on how to use it, calibrate it and maintain it so you can have this for a long time.I was very skeptical when I ordered it because, how good could it be. Turns out it is very good. This was extremely accurate. I do have PH testers for my pool water and the solutions to raise and lower PH and this is water safe, if you need to calibrate it then you will need to use water solutions, however it does not say pool chemical safe so I took regular tap water and checked the PH in it with my pool water test then used this. To check the water. This is actually more accurate than my pool tester. Then I went and got to the real reason I got this. To test soil in my lawn. I have a lot of different trees, and areas that all need to be treated differently. The back yard where the oak trees grow with a lot of shade and acorns, and even all the dog deposits tends to be more acidic. I have to sometimes put lime back there to raise the PH, I also never need to water back there. Grass and oaks prefer slightly acidic soil. I tested and I was 6.5. Perfect. I went to the front yard where I have been having some problems, this also gets full sun and needs watered a lot especially this year. This was 7.6, so I need to correct this. It explained a lot why I was having issues out front. Also using this tester, as mentioned with the pool kit to verify the PH tester. I know my water is Alkaline 7.9. So watering the lawn has been turning the soil more alkaline. I do soil testing every 2 years, just a sample from front and back but also usually at the beginning of the year now I can really keep a closer eye on this and have a better lawn and adjust ever other month when I do fertilizer. There are a lot of ways to use this, besides lawn care. Next year I am planning to put in some raised beds and attempt to grow some veggies.
