At this point, I have been using this gel seat cushion on my office chair for nearly two years. It's still as comfortable as the first day I used it and it doesn't show any signs of wear and tear (I don't use it anywhere else). It's a leather chair but this cushion stays in place while I sit on it and push myself forward/backward on the chair's wheels. I'm very happy with it.

I purchased this cushion to place on my seat in my motorcoach while driving a tour bus! It’s been a great investment and well worth the money. I use it every time I drive the motorcoach.

I have a leather recliner with a soft, non removable cushion. This cushion is fairly comfortable but not as firm as I would like.

bought it for my wife's new nissan rogue, she said it's great it doesn't slide around , perfect fit in her seat. I've had one in my jeep for a couple years, same sojoy brand, just less the gel, and it is great on my lower back, especially with the lift on the jeep, pretty rough riding, mine looks as new as the day I bought it, .

A day later. Before I bought another, I thought I ought to take the one I have an try it in my car. I did, and I can't recomment it for *my* car, an 11 year old with heated seats, but maybe no springs anymore. I had several stops to make, and at each one, I tried adjusting the cushion. It was still uncomfortable. I'm writing this addendum sitting on the cushion: I love it for my office chair: for the car, I would give it only 2 stars. That's quite a difference.***I've had back problems for years. They come and go, and now they're back. (So now you know what happens when your back goes out, it does return.) A few years ago, I lost 32 pounds. Of course, I lost most of it where I need the padding, my butt. Now, I have hip pain, and have trouble sitting for more than a half hour at a time. I've bought new office chairs, espensive ones, and to no avail. I lloked up "cushions for back, butt, hip pain," and look what popped up.I was a bit concerned. No one mentioned "gel" or any "squishy insides" that comform to your body. A few people said that this was built like an egg carton. But, I went ahead and ordered one a week ago. It arrived a day later (sometimes Prime has a way around the supply chain issues), and I've been sitting on it for 6-8 hours a day. So far, my biggest problem is not remembering to get up at least once an hours and at least stretch and walk around the room. However, the greatest thing that has happened is that my legs do not go numb any more - or at least for the week. My sciatica has been slightly relieved. (For complete relief, first I have to have my chiropractor kill me twice a week, until I do get comkplete relief. But at least this cushion preserves whatever it is that he does, and doesn't make things worse like the previous two gel/memory (ha!) cushions I've bought through Amazon.I recommend this highly. Don't pay any attention to reviews that say that this isn't thick enough, or not as thick as the description says. It's cushioning the rear end of a 182 pounder, and I didn't have to adjust my chair or the car seat (which is why I'm getting another). I gave "Pain Relief" four stars: if I gave it five, it would mean that my body has gone back 50 years when the only time I felt pain was after 50 mile bike rides, two compettive racquetball sets, or laying brick for the patio. Again, it's the best I've tried.

I just bought my 5th one of these today. I have a bad back and lots of lower leg and foot pain. Sitting or standing means pain. Sitting is always difficult, but I tried this seat cushion and frankly, don't like sitting on them. But you know what, when I get up I feel better and my feet hurt less all day long when I use them. If I sit in my wheelchair (30 to 40% of the time) or at my desk 50% of the time or on the couch, my feet do not hurt as much while sitting there if I use the cushions. And my back does not hurt as much either. The bad part is that they cushions are hot and feel stiff so they make my butt sore (sorry for the visual). However, having so much less pain in my feet and my back is worth sitting on the cushion. All that said, from what I have seen, my issues are not the usual ones, and things seem to affect me differently. But that is why I wanted to write this review; finding some relief has been a lifelong endeavor of 30 years (adult life that is) and wanted people to know that if they are hard to please like I am - cushions are too stiff, or too soft, too thick, then give this one a try. I know a lot of people feel like I do - what helps others does not help them. Oh, and the price is low too. Funny, but I don't worry about price much and tend to buy the most expensive thing thinking that you get what you pay for. But in this case, I figured I would end up trying a bunch of them and still not find anything so I started at the low end of the money scale and would work my way up to the most expensive disappointment! ha-ha But this time, it worked out. Hope it does for you too.

I bought this to put on my cruiser (Yamaha Vstar 1100) for long trips. I did a 783km ride with this seat and it worked out great. You still get sore eventually but it definitely reduced fatigue and soreness on the long ride. It straps onto the Vstars seat without any issue and doesn't slide around.Using it on my office chair now too and it's great. Much comfier than the cushion I used before. So far it hasn't become uncomfortable from sitting for hours. Stays in place too because of the grips on the underside. No sliding. Since it's gel it should keep it's shape and density for the most part.

Have only used it 3 hours over the libraries withered out chairs. Certainly improves the comfort and posture. From inspection it is well constructed and expect to last about 4-6 months using it 3-4 hrs a day 4 times week. Taking out the washable cover this model does not have memory foam. just sponge and gel squares made of the same stuff as shoe inserts. For the price which includes Tax ($20). I cant complain does the job well. - Update its 2 months now using it at least 4 hours a day - Great!
