I rarely write a negative review but for this item I must. Doesn’t hold charge long despite sun exposure. More often than not I come outside to my patio with intentions of using it and it is ‘dead’. Which leads me to using a candle. Candles are great, but now and again I just want the light and not a smell. Not sure if there is a way to modify the charger piece on top but sadly, this hasn’t worked out for me.

I thought this was going to be a lot larger than what it is. It is so cute and has a soft light/flicker to it. Wish is was double the size and brightness.

I have had this sitting on a table on my patio since mid June and it works great. When I first opened it I was a little surprised by how small it was, but decided to give it a try. It has been through rainstorms and very hot weather here this summer and it comes on every night, every time. I love the warm glow it gives off. Wish it were just a little bigger, but super impressed by the performance.

I have quite a few solar lights in my yard. I got this one to put on an outdoor cafe table. I was looking for a neutral off-white or beige color, something that would not take up too much space, and something that would provide a softer, candlelit effect. This lamp does all of that. The cut-out pattern is great, because it helps render the light easy on the eyes when you sit near it. The only "ding" I have is that it does not last as long as some of my other solar lights and lamps. I think it's because the solar panel itself is pretty small. Placing the lamp in the sunniest place possible all day (I live in Southern California) does not really make much of a difference to its nighttime longevity. Other than that, it's great! Plus, it's sturdy. If it slides off a surface, that will not be the end of it. I think the black ones would probably be super for Halloween -- nice and spooky.

This creates the perfect ambiance when dining alfresco, the material is strong and durable, and the light gives off a pleasant candle like glow that flickers. It’s solar, which is great and safe. I don’t leave it outside at all times because I don’t want it to get rusted, but it coated and it may survive the elements. The diode is open to the elements at the bottom so keep that in mind if you plan on keeping it outside, this would be great for camping or just eating outdoors at night. It’s safe to have around kids as well as there’s no real flame.
