This is a nice looking hat but it is very hot to wear. Not much good for Australian hot weather. Will have to wait till the winter to wear it. Kinda defeats the purpose of sun protection.

In my early 30s and investing in my skin care, so I wanted a hat I could pack and take anywhere that would protect my neck and ears from the sun and not just my face.This hat is awesome. Has a huge brim that is a bit longer in the back to fully protect the neck. It's reversible and has a neck tie, though I prefer using it without one and keeping the adjustable elastic snug. Folds up easily when packing, just need to smooth the wire out with your hands after unpacking. I've even folded it up and put it in a larger purse when I'm out.The best feature I didn't know this hat had: it has a little opening you can pull your hair through! On a hot summer day, having no hair on the back of my neck is awesome. It also means I don't need to wear a hair tie, so when I take the hat off, my hair is down and nice!Potential cons:The brim is SO big, it can block peripheral vision. The hat brim has a wire in it, so you can adjust how it , but if that would bother you, they sell a similar hat with a smaller brim.

Use this for sun protection on my neighborhood walks and it's perfect - perfect size, love the color, and it's washable!

This hat is fantastic. It has a really nice wide brim for full coverage. The brim has an internal wire so you can shape it however you need to in order to block out the sun. It's a soft but sturdy fabric, and is completely foldable for easy travel. Foldable straw hats inevitably lose their shape, get warped, and tear, but this fabric hat is the complete opposite. I love that you can throw it in the wash as well. I haven't done so yet, but will put it in a mesh bag, and I'm certain it'll be fine. I took one star away because even though the hat is reversible, you can only wear it one way if you want to use the straps. As you can see from the picture, the hooks are on the beige side. There are no hooks on the black side. Almost perfect though. Might get another one to leave in the car.

I ordered multiple sun hats & this one is my FAV of all time! Material is super soft, comfortable and very light weight with full coverage. My favorite thing about this hat is very soft comfortable fabrics and very comfortable, I get multiple complements from people. I want to order like 20 more. I love this hat

I wanted a hat that was washable, foldable for traveling, and that covered my ears and neck. The added bonus was a slit in the back if you have a ponytail. I got the cream/vanilla color in L/XL size. I wasn’t sure which size to get so I sized up and it fits great. It has a cinch if you need to make it smaller. The string to hold it down under your chin in windy conditions can be removed easily and is easy to adjust. I washed the hat in a delicates bag and it washed well. So happy I found this protective hat!

Best hat ever. Love that it comes in 2 sizes. S/M and L/XL. The One size fits all hats strangle my head. Ordered the L/XL and the fit is perfect. No taking this off after 30 minutes because I can't take the pressure any more and I keep my hair very short. Wonderful lightweight fabric of great quality. The brim is quite large and provides the shade needed for the shoulders and back of the neck. Even feels glamorous. This is an example of you get what you pay for. The detachable chin strap will come in handy in windy Kansas.

I wanted a hat that offered broader coverage than my current hat, which only provided shade for half of my face, especially in the afternoon when the sun no longer shines from the top. I also wanted something which allowed me to leave my hair tied back. Therefore this one caught my eye.The material is soft, but the rim of the hat makes it sturdy enough to withstand mild to mid-level winds. You will need to hold the rim of the hat down for strong gusts of wind, like most fabric hats. The wide rim is the highlight - it covers my whole face, neck and shoulders at all times of the day, which is fantastic. I wore it in the middle of the hot afternoon, and the material remained cool.The only downside is that I wish the hole in the back for putting my hair through is higher, so that when I put the hat on, I don't have to tilt the hat as much forward as I need to (i..e the front of the hat blocks my vision). This simply means you will need to tie your hair a bit lower to compensate. Otherwise, all good.

Not a cheap purchase. Ridiculously big for a "small-medium" fit. I don't regard it as a reasonable fit for someone with a small head. Good news is that it is adjustable however I would not describe that finished adjustment as looking especially great. And yes the models look entirely fabulous in the hat but on a smaller person the brim entirely overwhelms the face. Has a draw string under the chin - these clip in but one side the fabric it clips into is too loose so draw string falls out easily. Sending back.

This hat saved me, my mom wants one too. Excellent for a ponytail too. Also, it’s hard for me to find cute women’s hats because I have such a big head. But the sizing was perfect for me.

Ordered the small and it was still to big. Liked the soft material and the wide wired rim. Hardware is just average for the price of the hat.
