Magnets hold nice and tight. Clips have just the right amount of tension. Magnifying Glass (real glass!) is huge and work light is bright. Should last a long time.

The mag glass seems to be right and it stays where it is put. The mount is screwed to the plate in a fixed position. So far this has not been an issue for using it. It can easily be removed from the mount and the mount is small enough it is not in the way. I like having the controls on the light rather than in the cord. When you turn it on the settings are as you left them. The 4 arms work well both in rigidity and the magnets holding them. A larger plate would be nice but this does work fairly well. The bottom has a thin anti slip foam on the entire surface keeping it very stable. The only problem I had was a delivery issue. The 1st one never showed. The tracking stopped at a sorting facility.

This is a great tool. I build models out of brass wire and this is just what I needed to hold pieces together so I can get a good solder joint. It is solid well built. The flexible arms are strong and hold their shape when bent. Arm magnets grip well and stay in place. Base is heavy enough to stay put. Light and magnifier are good, but the light arm is rather hard to bend - hoping it gets easier with use. I'm trying to find two more of the short arms, they're better for my use.

This is the most honest review you will see.The magnetic clips are cool and useful but the main thing was the 10x zoom lens, and it's definitely Not 10x.Just look at the picture for proof.The paper Im holding barely changes size, and if I hold it further away than that it becomes out of focus. So that distance is the correct one, and it is obviously Not 10X, not even close. I would be surprised if it was 3x.The only reason I purchased this was because I had specifically looked for 10x zoom magnifying lens. This one has 10x all over product page.But it is never mentioned even once anywhere on this blank packaging, not it's super generic instruction manual.If this lens was say, 8X and they exaggerated to 10x, then fine it's no big deal. But wow, this is a staggering difference. I have a much smaller lens that is actually 10X, and the zoom difference is hilarious.This is by far, the very worst case example of false advertising that I have ever seen anywhere on Amazon, in my whole life. I've seen products exaggerating on watts output, or power levels. But to go from 2x to 10x, like come on now, that is just plain rude.

This is absolutely stellar for doing nail art! I had double cataract surgery within the last year, and my closeup vision is now not what you could call sharp any more. I used a headgear magnifier at first, but it was cumbersome, would slip down as I worked and it flattened my hair. I decided to give this little wonder gadget a try. The lamp is nice and strong, so everything is well illuminated. The strength and type of light is very easy to switch with a couple of taps. And the arms are da bomb for doing cats-eye polishes. I clip the bar magnet onto on of the arms, and it is easy to set it super close to the nail. The worst part before this was having to hold the magnet perfectly still, just a fraction of an inch above wet polish. Now, I clip in the magnet, put my polished finger in place on my desk, pull the arm to the right place, and sit back for a couple of minutes, and enjoy a super razor-sharp magnetic line. I keep it permanently attached to my counter, and I use it all the time now for a perfect, flawless polish application and cleanup, as well as for super accurate placement of stamping designs, including the notoriously difficult layered stamping. If you do nail art, you NEED this! Once you have it, you will find yourself wondering what you ever did without it, and why you didn’t buy it sooner. Promise.

The magnetic holders are impressive.Perfect for small detailed work.This setup in conjunction with an anti static rubber mat will give u a transportable workstation that could temporarily be used on the kitchen table.The light and magnifier! The light has three color temperatures, and many brightness levels.Magnifier is clear.
