A smooth transition between the Throttle Body and the Manifold minimizes pressure (HP) losses found on straight bore Adapters. This Adapter seamlessly joints this larger Throttle Body to your Manifold or Supercharger. Transitional taper; ensures that there are no steps on the flow path and minimizes pressure losses/drops to manifold. Straight bore Adapters transitions are abrupt and drop manifold pressure. Hole pattern ensures throttle body, Adapter, and Manifold bores are concentric. Edge to edge, no steps due to mismatches. All clearance hole patterns adapters allow centerline shifts and bore mismatch. Proper sealing gland design and Low Compression set Silicone Seal to ensure durability and proper function of the seal. The excessive O-Ring squeeze is conducive to the O-Ring compression set and loss of sealing performance over time.

Piece was well machined but one bolt was buggered and every attempt to fix the first threads didn’t work. The other issue was somehow it arrived with several dings on the beveled area which I am sure doesn’t hurt but surely looked bad on an otherwise nicely machined part. I assume it happened when these are finished but not yet bagged. Probably all thrown together in a box…
