When placing an order, the fabric measurement should correspond to the flange-to-flange measurement (note: the fabric itself will measure 5” shorter than the complete awning width). For example: A flange-to-flange slide-out size of 64” (or 5’3”) will require an awning width selection of 6’ (5’7” fabric) for complete coverage. Also, you can place your slide topper up to 5” above the trim on top of your slide-out room, giving you more flexibility during installation.

the cover sucks, where the seam attachés to the vehicle was glued instead of sowed ,the sun melted the glue causing it to detach from the cord at the vehicle mount , the cord stayed in the grove

Product was damage, even if the packaging was intact. As shown on the picture, the metal part that needs to be install on the RV is bent.

Works great, but be aware the instructions don’t tell you that there is a pin on each side of the roller that Hass to be removed before extending the awning for the first time! Terrible oversight in the instructions. If I hadn’t been watching the slide come out and had somebody else extend it the first time, the top trim of my slide would have been ripped off! Just beware of removing the two silver pins, one on each side of the roller once it is installed and in place and before you extend it the first time.Otherwise, functions great, and I’m happy with the purchase! Should make a big difference in keeping leaves, rainwater, and excess heat off of the slide.

We were so nervous about ordering this as we were afraid the sizing could be off. Finally did so and we couldn’t be happier! We have a 2022 Forest River 24RLXL and our slide is 89.5 inches wide. It took two of us about a half an hour to install. Looks great and hopefully will secure the area and keep water from coming in.

The awning rail was twisted up beyond straightening. I believe the shipper dropped it more than once. The packaging should have been more secure. They used packing tape on both ends of the tube. Which became ripped and torn open. Felt lucky that all the parts were still there. Had to purchase a new awning rail from a local awning shop. Otherwise, it installed fairly easy following a Youtube instruction video. The manufacturer's instruction manual was not too informative. Also, it was ripped almost in half. Looks good and fits good on my 8 ft slideout.
