Solid construction. I needed to replace the check valve on my Harbor Freight 40400 compressor. This fit the tank, lit fit the pressure switch line but it did not match the threads for the air intake from compressor head. I had to make an adaptor to couple - but I'm sure there are OTC fittings that can be had to do this. There are several reviews that lay out this problem and remedies.

Mount into the 1/2" F fitting on the tank. Cut the old plastic 10mm tube barely above the old brass compression sleeve and install the provide new 10mm nut and sleeve and tighten into the fitting. I used a brass 3/8" OD compression X 3/8" Fpipe (FiP) adapter on the check valve's feed inlet. The old Central Pnuematic copper tube was is aluminum coated with copper which makes it a weird OD. 30 inches of 3/8" OD soft copper refrigerator tubing will get you up to the compressor head with gentle curving. The original 90 degree fitting on the compressor head is also aluminum and shattered while removing. Replaced with a brass 3/8" OD compression X 1/2" Mpipe (MiP) union. Had to cut a 6" slot in the plastic shroud for the new pipe path.

The smaller of the two compression fittings is M6 thread. The M6 nut and ferrule comes with it. It will hold a 1/4” tube just fine. The larger of the two compression fittings does NOT come with the compression nut. It is 21/32” thread (within .001” when measured). It is not metric, unless someone out there sells a metric nut between 16mm and 17mm. I was unable to source a nut that size anywhere including online. It most fit certain model compressors, but not my old Central Pneumatic from Harbor Freight. I was, however, able to tap the inside if that fitting to 1/8”NPT and then put another brass fitting from the hardware store on it that would connect to my 3/8” copper tube. So I made it work, but it was significant effort.

This is a 5-star product with a 2-star description.I was replumbing an older Hitachi compressor with a 3/8 NPT output port, and all my other fittings are NPT, so I spent $20 on NPT-to-G adapters to make it work. But it turns out that the threads on this valve are NPT (3/8 input and 1/2 output), not G (BPPT) as in the description. I didn't need the adapters.Oh, and the relief port has a 10 mm nut but takes 6 mm (.236") OD tubing. I tried 1/4" (.250") but it would not fit in the ferrule.Once I finally got everything together the valve seems to work fine.

Purchased this as my ridgid 6 gallon compressor would leak air back into the compressor when it shuts off. I plugged the one outlet that wasnt needed, and only use the two larger sides. It fit perfectly on my OF60150HB. I used some permatex hydraulic and air thread sealant on the threads to seal those up.

I bought this part to fix my old air compressor and it was a perfect match.

The threads on this piece are true, It's the threads on the compressor that are garbage! The larger flare nut would not thread BUT new 5/8" flare nut will. I cut off the ferrule and part of the "copper" pipe, installed a new nut and new ferrule and problem solved. ( I used some old water supply parts that's why you see two chrome parts where the original had one). Use heavy duty gas line teflon tape or pipe dope compound.
